Kerrigan_dragon Tae: Severe severe depression is what was cured by epileptics having seizures. Not a bad mood or anything. They don't know why They're still working on refining the process, and until fairly recently psychiatric wards were still kinda evil torturous places. razz So it's getting better, but bad experiences were all too common, and still are. But at least it's getting better. smile I am not talking about a "bad mood". : ) I do not enjoy talking about my experience with depression. I am certainly not as far gone as some, I'm actually functioning these days, but suffice to say that a "bad mood" would be putting it very, very lightly. They don't know why many anti-depressants work, either, which I find almost as scary as ECT. Also, a lot of drugs that treat mania are also used to treat epilepsy. : D Which is also kinda neat.
