Ryo walked into the classroom and took a seat near the front. From the looks of things, nobody had come through the place in quite some time. He hoped he wouldn't have to wait long...

Ryo sighed. He hated waiting. Since he was bored he decided to go up to the front of the class, pick up some of the chalk that was lying around, and went to doodling on the board just to pass the time. He drew out himself, Fenrir, and of course the Kuramas. He wondered when he might see them again...

A teenage girl came walking into the building. She wore simple clothing, a hat, a white t-shirt, and some red pants. Oddly, though, she wore a black tie around her neck and had green AND black in her hair. And to match her odd attire, she carried three, massive spears on her back. This was Yin Sung, a newcomer in this village. She had just arrived from Mist in order to find her Uncle Yun Sung, but she was too late and he had already left. The only reason that she didn't follow him was because she knew that it wouldn't be safe to be in Mist anymore after the coup.

Yin tried not to thing about her situation for the moment and began to seek out a teacher. She scoured the academy, but found nobody except for a blonde boy who was doodling on the chalk board. She walked up to him and poked his cheek. "Hey there! You seen anyone around here at all? I need a teacher!"

Ryo scribbled some more before finally putting the chalk down. He stood and admired his work of him and his "family" sitting together again, like old times. "Heh, not bad if I do say so myself." He rubbed his nose to cover his large grin. That was when he oddly felt someone poking his cheek and glanced to see a girl standing right next to him. "Whoah!" He yelped in surprise and staggered away a few steps. "Too close lady! But no, now that you mention it this place seems kinda dead." He stopped talking to listen in on the building. Not another sound could be heard through the whole place. Its empty halls and rooms made no noise.

"That is so lame! I need to get some training or whatever so I can learn some new moves! This kinda sucks, how am I supposed to ever become a Genin if there's nobody to teach me?" He sighed and then plopped down on the floor, pouting like a child. She wasn't happy at all about this. She then looked up at the drawing done by the boy she was with. "Is that your family? Hm... Must have been nice having a family around. I never really had much to do with my actual family. I spent more time with the family's servants. But I came here to escape the war in the Mist and to find my uncle, Yun Sung. However, it seems that he's left the village and is on his way back to the Mist...." Yin's head fell down and she stared blankly at the ground. Her objective for being here was gone and the only way to get back to her uncle was to leave and go to Mist.

Ryo sighed. "But isn't going to Mist dangerous? I heard that they closed it off so that nobody could get in now." He walked over and took a seat at a nearby desk so he could fold his arms and rest his head on it. Hopefully a teacher would come soon. He didn't want to think about what would happen if he had to leave the village so early.

"Going to Mist is dangerous, so that's why I'm going to stay here until I can either survive there or until the war there is over and I can safely go as I am. Until either of those happen, I'm gonna be stuck here with no hope of seing uncle Yun." Yin sighed as she finished speaking and then perked up. She just realized that she had met somebody new and they hadn't introduce themselves. "Oh, dear! I forgot to tell you my name! I am Yin Sung of the Sung Clan from the Mist Village! I'm currently living here and training here until I can go back to my home in the Mist! So what's your name?"

"I see." Ryo outstretched his partially leather-gloved hand out from the desk to shake Yin's. "My name is Ryo Loki, from the ghettos of Rogue territory." He grinned. "I'm currently living here to train until I'm strong enough to destroy those who killed my brother, and take down all the ninjas who've abused their powers along the way." He laughed lightly to himself. Just saying it out loud sounded strange and far-fetched now that he thought about it. "Pleasure to meet you."

''The black veil over Mist is gone. There is no need to worry or care about a matter such as that. Instead, let's... just... learn. I know you're "Yin", but who are you, boy? Are you a new edition to the academy?" Neither of them looked too smart nor impressive, but that was to be expected of children who had not yet even gained the rank of genin. She found it cute, however, that they bothered to divulge themselves into world-politics. ''Well, regardless, my name is Lucy. I am your instructor, unfortunately for you. Just... do what I tell you to do."

"It's nice to meet you Ryo Loki. I-" Just then, a newcomer arrived and spoke about the Mist. Apparently the war was over. This meant that she could return home. However, Yin began to think to herself. "I'm not quite ready to go home, yet. After all, I did just arrive. I should probably take advantage of the training here and then return home when I am permitted to do so." Yin stood up tall and approached the teacher. "Hello Lucy! I guess we can start training now! I'm a Weapons Specialist, as you can tell. So, please, help me get better with fighting with weapons."

Ryo glanced at the new teacher that had finally arrived. He happily bounced out of his desk and gave a slight bow to the teacher out of mutual respect. "I am Ryo Loki, I'm pretty good at everything but right now I'm best suited with taijutsu." he answered her.

Hearing both students but disregarding most of their speech, Lucy leaned against a wall and began to explain to them the basics. It wasn't very descriptive, but she knew that they had already been taught about techniques and even these techniques in specific, so it wouldn't be a shocker if they could've done it even without her help. They just needed to be supervised. That was her purpose for being present. ''I won't be teaching you anything involving taijutsu or weapons, however, as my job is only to teach students the three basic techniques. Nothing more, nothing less. Those three basic techniques are... as you probably already know: Clone technique, Substitution technique, and Transformation technique. They're all proficient in their own way, and that is enough for you guys... at least for the time. You should probably already have a general feel on the specifics of the techniques... the handsigns, the chakra consumption, the cause, the effects... I just need both of you... to act these techniques OUT." When she was done speaking, she cracked her neck and performed the three jutsu herself, hoping that such images would help them in remembrance.

Ryo nodded to the teacher and went to work on his substitution skill. First he formed the hand seals and thought of something in the room that was relatively equal to his mass and size. Luckily there were plenty of desks and other such objects that fit that description. He wouldn't have any trouble finding the materials he needed.

Then Ryo activated the jutsu and went up in smoke. When it faded away a second later, a desk stood in his place. Meanwhile, Ryo was in the back of the classroom. He confidently made his way back to the front of the class to try out the other two jutsus.

Next he decided to try out the bun shin technique. He made a careful note to study how the teacher did it. Clones never seemed like his specialty. When he felt he was ready, Ryo formed his hand seal.

He concentrated on his own physical image. Chakra lined itself around his whole body, taking in all colors and markings before separating from the main body in the form of a clone. While it may have had no physical constitution, it still looked enough like Ryo to pass as his double and be used as a distraction in battle. The clone did a little dance for Lucy to show that it was well-made before Ryo dispersed it.

Now there only remained the transformation technique, the Henge Jutsu. Ryo was a little excited about this one in particular, as he liked to use it for all kinds of jokes and pranks. Unfortunately this wasn't the time for either, so he just shut up and formed his hand seal.

Again Ryo's body went up in smoke. When it dispersed, a perfect image of Lucy stood before her. Ryo struggled to hold down the temptation to make a joke, like groping herself or something to that effect, and instead just went back to his real form. With a heavy sigh Ryo felt both proud that he'd become mature enough not to slight his teachers at every opportunity, and yet ashamed that he'd skipped out on such a rare chance.

Yin nodded and watched the techniques. She knew the basics well enough to get by with this, even though Ninjutsu was not her strong suit. However, Yin began to perform the techniques as Lucy finished. First, she created a clone that stood next to her. It was flawless; a 100% perfect copy of Yin. It walked away a few steps and then the clone pulled out her basic spear. The original Yin performed another technique and transformed into Lucy. They looked like twins. The clone then ran forward and thrust the spear at Yin. However, a poof of smoke appeared as the spear came near her, and she was thusly replaced with a chair form nearby. The real Yin broke her transformation and then appeared above the clone. She dropped an axe down on the confused target and caused it to disperse.

"I'm not done yet," Yin shouted as she created two more clones All of them threw down their weapons and rushed forward and engaged in hand-to-hand combat. Punches, kicks, and even b***h slaps were thrown all over the fight between them. The real Yin jumped back and nodded to the two clones. She had just demonstrated her ability to create clones that could hold their own in a small struggle. After seeing the nod, the clones prepared themselves. One of the clones used the transformation jutsu as she leaped into the air, becoming a windmill shuriken. The real Yin jumped up and grabbed the shuriken and then threw it down at the last clone. The clone then used the substitution technique and was replaced with yet another chair. The last clone appeared nearby and grabbed the shuriken, throwing it back at the real Yin. Before it hit, the shuriken transformed back into the clone and then sent a punch directly at Yin's face. Yin reacted quickly and whipped out a kunai. She leaned to the side to dodge the punch and then plunged the kunai into the clone, dispersing it immediately. She then tossed the kunai down at the last clone and hit in the neck, dispersing it. "There we go! How was that, Lucy-chan?"
