The bronze and his rider continued to fight. A soft voice had reached out, surprising the bronze, who was was not feeling well. Still, he allowed his thoughts to reach out to the small green. It is okay to be afraid, young Cynosuth, but please, don't let it blind you. Remember, we are fighting this together. We are here as a team, and you are doing your best. So long as you are fighting hard, and trying, then that is what is important. Threadfall is a terrible thing, and mistakes can be costly... but remember, no matter how great the mistake, try not to forget the very good that you do! With every success, think of the countless number of dragons and riders and people you have saved. You need not be afraid. We are all here, together. They would live together, they would die together. One way or another...

The bronzerider and his dragon continued to fight. He could tell Kindeth was hurting, but he was also in pain. It wasn't bad enough to get it looked at a healers, but it did hurt. If only they were given travel numbweed, or some sort of temporary relief. Ah, but the link changed, and suddenly, S'del went pale. Kindeth?

The dragon roared in indignation. He did not wish to tell his rider the news. Kindeth, what!?

Quietly, the dragon answered. Oyath's is hurt. They have landed.

Any of the man's pan was forgotten as he thought about the dark haired green rider. Hurt?! How bad? Was he going to be all right? Were the healers saving him!? Though his thoughts were wild, another part of him knew he had to calm, had to focus. If Oyath was still alive, then that meant A'ye, too, lived. Tell them we'll be there as soon as we can!

Oh, Faranth, this Fall couldn't get over fast enough.

Please, Mine and I worry. Tell us if his situation changes. I am sorry, Oyath.

Spotting the clumps of Thread being brown in the wind, Gareth moved towards them. The bronze didn't need speed to catch up to them, opening his maw and belching out a flame that was very much longer then what he normally did.

Both rider and dragon were alarmed, but the pair were helpless to do anything. Though S'del felt sick, and Kindeth looked a touch more grey and grim, the pair fought on. Kindeth dove down, flaming down some of the strands, but he wound up flying directly into the ash cloud. Nothing to be done about that. . .

Hopefully, the wind and Thread would cooperate, although the way his day had been going so far, he had his doubts. But he would try, at least! He bugled again, this time with more confidence, before embarking on another firestone delivery. And, feeling the brush of Aurinkoth's mind against his own, sent back fond affection.

Aresoth above us! The words were all that Aresoth needed to hear. In a blink they were gone, reappearing a safe distance away, having avoided the Thread. There was pride in the pair, they had worked hard and betweening was getting easier and easier.

Orodreth had been looking over his wingmates, seeing that one of them was faltering. Altoth! We are almost through this! Hold your head up high and continue the fight! Perhaps not the greatest words of inspiration he could have spoken, but the blue did his best.

Once he was done speaking to Altoth, Orodreth noticed another wingmate in danger. They were focused on a large sheet of Thread and didn't notice the three clumps coming towards them. The blue was lithe and able to cut through the air quickly, easily flaming down all three.

With worry building, especially as Oyath remained quiet, S'del hardly noticed his firestone sack was empty until he reached into feed Kindeth more... and found nothing there. We need more.
