Zeph winced as his bludger connected, then yelped in pain as another bludger slammed into his side. Blinking back tears, he looked around to spy the culprit, and noticed Chase was taking aim, mainly at him. His face set in determination, he flew and tried to intersperse himself between the bludger aimed at Emma and well, Emma. He then swung, hoping to send it toward Chase.

Emma had just missed the goal and Leo caught it. The next thing she knew she was hit with a bludger. Getting hit hard she winced and pushed past it. There was nothing she could do. Taking a breath, Emma went after Rider who now had possession of the quaffle. Trying to steal the ball back she hoped she could take it from her vice captain.

Chase grinned as she landed another shot. She was on a roll today. Emma failed to steal the ball, and she knew Cathy would be after it soon. So she chased after the bludger that had hit Emma and aimed it towards Cathy.

Chase's first shot missed, but she was determined to try again. Cathy had the quaffle now anyways, so she was a threat. She aimed at Cathy again and swung.

Narrowly dodging Iris, Emma wasn't giving up the ball that quickly. Speeding to the goal she knew she needed to throw it before it was too late. Getting within range again, the second year sent the quaffle flying towards the goal.

Zeph bit through his lip as he felt the bludger slam into his arm, causing Zeph to mentally swear and turn toward the girl that hit him. Gritting his teeth, he gauged who needed to be hit, and prayed that he had better luck than he was currently having. He had yet to land a hit on anyone, and wondered if maybe there wasn't some form of favouritism. He doubted it., but then again, he was getting kind of tired of being the only beater against two. Deciding to take aim, he flew toward a wayward bludger and swung, aiming at Chase and hoping it connected.
