"Yeah that's the last thing we need to be dealing with." Amaya sighed as she shook her head.
"Uh huh. I'm ready to go." Calista told Adrian as she pulled on her shoes and stood waiting at the door, pulling on her backpack now.

"Alright, then let's go." Adrian said pulling on his coat. "And there's still some food left in the pan if you get hungry for breakfast. If you need anything else, you know my number." he said with a smile before walking out the door.

"Thanks. Have fun at school." Amaya called to them as she waved from the couch.
"Is the baby gonna come soon?" Calista asked as she skipped along by Adrian's side.

"Well, soon-ish. It's still got three months to go, if my math is right." Adrian told her. If he was remembering correctly, this was the first time he got to walk Calista to school, as Amaya always seemed persistent on doing so herself.

"Coming from two mutate parents, I'd say it's more than likely." Adrian told her. "What he'll be like though is hard to say. He could just have powers like you, or he might change physically like me."
