Well, my first reason is that I tend to lose interest in a crush rather quickly. This is sort of the opposite problem I had before, where I would obsess until I broke my own heart. If my target is a different guy (or girl) every few days, it may be difficult to keep up-to-date.

That's totally how I was. When I would find a new prospect I would let the old one go. Usually it was the fact that it wouldn't have worked out that made me qeep searching.
