Tesei Utakata "Aim, Fire." Rneo finished for the lieutenant, his eyes playfully glinting behind the sunglasses he had donned. Looking to Snips and tapping his foot a few times before shouting, "Snips, Leaf Blade!" Snips, an equally mischievous look behind his set of sunglasses charged forward, whipping the sunglasses off his face and wielding them as a blade, green chi sparking along the edges of the pointed shades. Drawing close, Snips threw the sunglasses at the Raichu's face before materializing another Leaf Blade. Hoping the sunglasses and the last sight would of a Leaf Blade forming would be enough of a trick, Snips slid silently to beside the Raichu before attempting to wrap around the Raichu and Wring Out the poor Mouse Pokemon. "Permission to fire! Fake Out!" Lt. Surge cried out, his Raichu raising up to his hind legs and clapping his hands together, unleashing a surprisingly powerful shock wave, for such a small clap, from around its body to push back the incoming glasses, and more important, Snips. Once the flinch effects of the Fake Out grabbed a hold of Snips, the Raichu would deliver a spin kick to the snake's head, that'll teach it to get so cocky so quick.

Tesei Utakata Snips would fly back from the shockwave without a sound, missing the spin kick as he recovered his bearings from the attack. Flying around with the momentum of the kick, the forgotten Leaf Blade still in Snips hand would coming swinging around, aiming to slash at the Raichu with the whirling dervish of an attack. Lt. Surge would grin as Snips slashed Raichu, the mouse's body giving off a crackle of electricity in response, it was Raichu's Static ability trying to activate. "Thunderbolt! Fire at will!" Surge cried, he knew Snips had a resistance to Raichu, thanks to its apparent Grass typing, but it didn't matter, he wanted this thing paralyzed, and between the Static and the somewhat close range Thunderbolt, he figured his odds were good.

Tesei Utakata Feeling the electricity coursing through his body, Snips found himself slowing down as he made to take advantage of the close range with another Wring Out attack, his tail whipping around to constrict the Raichu before it might try to back away to a more ranged bit of combat. "So that's the name of the game, huh?" Lt. Surge sneered as he watched Snips constrict Raichu. "Up close and personal, fine by me! Raichu, counterattack! Break its fortification! Thunderbolt!" Raichu obeyed the order like a proper soldier and unleashed a hell of a Thunderbolt, electricity wildly erupting from its body, seemed to be more like a Thunder attack than the former. The plan was to cripple Snips, stunning it further, just long enough to escape its grip, and once the opportunity presented its self, Raichu would use its fancy footing to gain some distance.

The Signal Beam would bounce off the Mirror Coat, Raichu on all fours still staring at the incoming beam in shock, the sudden redirection taking it by surprise. There was simply not enough time to get out of the way or counter, and so the beam slammed into Raichu, sending it flying back a ways before it rolled over on to its back, knocked out. "We request conditional surrender!" Lt. Surge shouted as he made his way over to Raichu, helping the mouse up, despite being so stern with his Pokemon, he did seem to genuinely care about it.
"You fought admirably! I consider it an honor to have faced you in battle! I request that you take the spoils of our clash and leave this gym with pride and honor, all the way to the Pokemon League!" Lt. Surge said with a salute, then taking out a badge from his pocket and holding it out to Reno, Raichu also saluting, wearily. "Don't you dare lose to that hippie Grass lover in Celadon City, you will have shamed my soldier if you do."

"Yes, of course, right this way, sir." The young woman said with a bow, and began to lead Reno through the thick foliage that was the garden, it was more like a forest in there, with only small pathways to walk, but the Pokemon seemed to enjoy it tremendously. In their walk, they would pass up Weepinbell slumbering while hanging from branches, Oddish dancing away on the grass, Paras scurrying up tree trunks, and other women in kimonos, tending to saplings and various flower beds.
After what might seem like forever, due to all there was to take in, Reno and the woman would arrive at a clearing in the back of the gym, where a battle field rested, and a small table sitting close to the ground, various cups and a teapot sitting on top of it, and a woman dressed in a yellow kimono sitting down in front of the table, sipping away at some tea as a Vileplume danced away in front of her, releasing beautiful pink petals as it displayed its elegance in its Petal Dance.
"Lady Erika, the gym has a guest." The woman in pink said with a bow as she approached the other woman. "Hello, isn't the weather lovely today? The Pokemon seem to be enjoying themselves. Please, won't you sit down and enjoy some tea with my and watch my Vileplume's performance? I'm certain you won't be disappointed, friend." The one named Erika said to Reno, motioning for him to sit down.
