The Shadows speak to me,..
it whispers sweet nothings into my ear....
Shadowfiend screeched in pain and hatred as she recoiled from the light, swinging her tail at the offending girl as she retreated back into the shadows. "Hate, HATE! Kill!" She schreeched out as she paced at the edge of the light, glaring at the group but not going near the light, ready to pounce the instant it went out.
....Do you want to know what they say to me? "Won't you be our friend?

((I'll take that silence from everyone else as a no.))
"It's just a bit further, but I'm not sure what to expect, it's like someone just blotted out the entire area in darkness or something. The whole place feels, I dunno, disconnected somehow." Lewis said as he continued running with Datascape. They were getting closer, but he had no idea what to expect. As he had told her, he wasn't really getting anything from the area by scanning it with his powers.

"Darkness huh? Maybe a few lights will help." Datascape said as she materialized one of those large camping flashlights with a few minor adjustments to its power. Once they reached the room, she kicked the doors open and shined the light into the dark room.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys
The lights Data had made shone brightly tho even in there brightness they could only pierce the darkness up to a foot infront of the flashlights. The two teens had just joined there friends in the area Magi had created for Shadowfiend. "You children are far to quick to rush in" Magi muttered his eyes glowing a faint blue from the store room bunker as he stood there his right hand open palm up with a dark energy flowing around just above it. It kept the spell going while he kept concentration in it. "Tho I am left to wonder how well you can do without your sense of sight" Magi laughed gripping his left hand tightly as the doors behind Data and Lewis slammed shut issuing the metallic noise thru the gym. Now it was only the teens and Shadowfiend in her natural habitat.
Laying on the ground still Dead had his hands over his eyes having expected his life and luck to be ended right then. When he heard Archer tho a wave of relief flooded him for a moment as he was able to roll himself over and slowly get back to his feet. "Damn it" he muttered his whole body shaking as he tried to get a hold of himself. What would his father think of him at the moment cowering due to something as childish as a fear of what lurked within the darkness.
Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

"Craptastic." Lewis mumbled and figured since the darkness that permeated everything left them unable to see, perhaps he could guide the others with his psychic powers. "All right, if you guys can hear me, sound off. I'll try and coordinate you if I can." Lewis thought, projecting it to Fade, Archer and Dead.

Shadowfiend hissed as she vanished from the original group into the darkness and began to circle around to the other group that was holding one of her 'family'. Her tail whipped forward out of the darkness aiming for the flashlight, hoping to destroy it an immediately pounce on the girl of the group.

Datascape saw how only about a foot in front of her was illuminated. Even when she started modifying it to be stronger, all she could see was the same as before. "What the hell is going on?" she asked quietly as she tried to rely on her other senses. That was when something hit the flashlight she was holding and felt something tackle her to the ground. She ended up dropping the flashlight as it flickered in the dark, damaged, but not destroyed. "Get off!" she said as she tried to kick whoever or whatever was on her.
(Will night vision work in this "darkness"?)

(Night vision doesn't work if there is no light for it to pick up. Meaning that this being a pitch black darkness there is no light for the night vision to work off of. That being said other visions will likely work such as.. Oh you know Thermal.)
Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

Lewis' focus shifted when Data was attacked. With a little focus, he was able to attack whatever it was that had started attacking her.

{Ich bin ein predator! woot mrgreen } Shadowfiend hissed in slight pain as she was knocked off of her target, swinging her tail at the boy before she headed for the metal thing keeping her family captive and attacked it with her tail. She grabbed for Nightmare to bring her unconscious 'sister' away from the enemies before she started fighting again, not wanting her to get hurt.

Lewis "saw" what the creature was going for and renewed his assault. "She's going after the captive!" Lewis sent to Datascape, hoping she'd be able to help, there was only so much he could do at one time.

A dream which makes you happy,”Fade wasn't sure what she could do to help since she wasn't entirely sure where everyone is on the darkness. She thinks for a moment before attempting to create an illusion of a bright light filling in the darkness, though she was entirely sure how it would work. “To you who is still crying,

(...I...am so sorry...I did not see posts...*hangs head in shame* )
Datascape got Lewis' message as she tried to react in time. "Up!" she told the robot carrying the girl to have it fly upward to hopefully avoid the creature, the tail scratching the side of it. She quickly got back up on her feet and materialized thermal vision into her mask so she could see.
