As the two took their careful look around, Dormith spotted a particularly intimidating sheet of Thread and moved to Flame it down, moving back into position before the Wingmate who he hadn't known was even at risk emerged where it had once been.

Stop eating so fast! I'han winced, a hand over his own mouth from the sympathy pains from his bond with Houleth, who had absolutely chomped his own tongue.

Wheeling, flaming, catching thermals, fighting wind.... Threadfall is nothing if not exhausting. Greens, and blues find themselves panting with exhaustion. This is more tiring than they thought. Trying to come up from a dive, they struggle on wing and wind up getting blown right into some thread. Ouch! [+1 Stamina, Moderate Damage -4 HP ]
Houleth was at least doing his best despite a throbbing mouth distracting both dragon and rider. But he was a small blue and suddenly pulling from any acrobatics could be tiring. Going from it right into a burst of wind had been a disaster waiting to happen.

This past year had been a lesson in humiliation for T'en. Relearning what they had deliberately forgotten fifteen years ago had been tougher than he could have ever imagined, but as they rose into formation and Rixth started flaming away, T'en felt powerful for the first time in a long while. Skerath keened suddenly, and though the sound was soft, it cut through Iathe's heart. Someone lost to them--forever. There would be time to properly mourn later, for soon, the green dragon let out an angry hiss as a small strand touched her wing. Iathe sent them Between, immediately checking to see if Skerath was all right.
Fine. She replied tersely. Much easier to deal with than emotional pain.
The greens, and blues don't seem to be having trouble sweeping up thread. Yeehaw! This isn't so bad! [+3 Agility]
Skerath's flame burned bright and hot as she darted here and there, incinerating Thread as it fell. It was hard not to get caught up in the utter thrill of it, but Iathe made certain to keep herself focused.

You notice that one of your wingmates is in trouble. Look out! Your dragon screams warning, and you watch as they successfully dodge catastrophe. Quote a Wingmate who took damage to Nullify Damage for that post! The quoted wingmate can remove that damage, unless they have already returned to the Weyr for healing or are already playing out a KO'd scenario.
Ever alert, the green and her rider kept their eyes open, ready to react to just about anything that got thrown their way. Hopefully they'd have no surprises, but they'd trained hard for this.
Your dragon has a moment of true inspiration, and sends out encouragement to his or her wingmates. Encouragement Boon! Quote one of your wingmates and remove one status effect.
Things were going... well. There had been injuries abound, and a pair that would never return to them... but as a whole, Skerath thought that the situation was manageable thus far. That could change in an instant if the weather decided to turn, and who knew how well they would fly in the dark--but for now, she was satisfied.
She turned her attention to one dragon in particular, a rumble building in her chest. Phocath! I'm surprised you've stayed in the air this long. Don't fail now.

Skerath belched out a torrent of flame to burn away at a particularly thick clump when the wind gusted around them. They had only seconds to react; Iathe knew they wouldn't be able to finish burning the clump in time, not without Skerath taking the hit. She quickly directed her Between, and as they appeared above the threatening mass, they could only watch as it plummeted to the wings below.

They are safe. Elzebuth reassured him, not needing to elaborate on who 'they' were. More than you know. Watch out for each other. He replied back to his blue brother, sending him a wave of affection before focusing on the fight once more.
