I'm not really drawn to a particular author, though I may soon actually read Stephen King's books to get inspiration.
The most recent book I've read is the Great Gatsby, which some of you are probably familiar with. It was very anti-climatic, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. I actually read it all of my own accord, though I most certainly never read ahead.
Another book I enjoyed was from the Shamer Chronicles, "The Serpent's Gift." I don't remember much about it, but if I get a chance, I'll re-read it. I think I read it about 2005. Horrible memory, I know.
I enjoyed the Harry Potter books, but I never really had the attention span to read them all on my own. I did, however, like them. In case you're wondering how I'm a fan if I never read them all, they were actually read to me. DON'T JUDGE ME. ;___;
Anyhow, I'll soon start on the Bluest Eye, I think it is? It's a book required for my English Composition course. So far, I'm a little irritated by the book, but that's because of the setting and time period. If you've ever read it, or decide to, then you'll know what I mean.
