The brunette cocked an eyebrow at Laurent's mention of being a TA. Since when had he had any interest in that sort of thing? Argenium certainly couldn't remember the blonde showing any interest in teachers or what they did. After all, it seemed fairly tedious to him. Then again, so did military actions, but he took part in those. Perhaps it was just a way for him to waste time.
However, at Laurent's mention of having no need to stay with him, Argenium pouted a bit, playfully it seemed. He was glad that Laurent had held up his job this time. Perhaps this one would help the other get off on another foot and learn to keep up with something. On the other hand, it also meant he might be seeing Laurent less often, not that it mattered much. Of course, he had a bit of a soft spot for his friend, but there was nothing he could really do about Laurent not visiting. No matter how many conspiracy theories he came up with, or how jealous he might get over things with Laurent, he had no right to impose on him like that.
"I thought you had a test or something of that sort today? Shouldn't you be studying rather than doing something that you no doubt have very little interest in?" Argenium piped up, getting into something that wa none of his business in the slightest. Of course, Laurent had probably studied for it quite a bit already. He was rather serious about all that, getting top grades on most assignments. He was their president, after all. Had to set a good example and keep things up.
What was his next class, anyway? Oh, yes, he had music next. Last he recalled, he had left his flute with Laurent, though. A shame, really, that he should be so forgetful. He rarely took the silver instrument anywhere, much less left it anywhere. Laurent was the only one he trusted that much, and he even had to wonder about that sometimes. He could never bear to leave his flute at school either. Well, perhaps he wouldn't be needing it today, though he doubted it.
He didn't play all too well, he thought. Sure. he was decent enough and could make an attempt at playing something if a sheet of music was set down in front of him, but he couldn't say he excelled in it. He didn't really excell in most things, but he did well enough for him.
Remembering Isidore's question, which he shouldn't have forgot, Argenium spoke up again with, "Hmm, well, I have music first today, though it seems I've left my flute elsewhere. Oh well, nothing to be done about it," somewhat thoughtlessly, not caring about it much. That alone was terrible, as a musician shouldn't leave their instruments places.
He glanced at Laurent here, seeming not to realize that Noah was looking even worse at this point for several moments. Though, upon seeing it, he didn't speak up. Noah would leave when he felt he needed to.
