Agreed, Sanzo; I think 99.55 percent of Hollywood movies would be so much better if they put the story first, instead of focusing on effects and stars, and MAYBE adding a plot later. If it occurs to them. confused

Sanzoskitsune *eye twitch as she is reminded of One Piece* and then of course stupid americans make a really good pirate anime into a bunch of freakin gangster talking idiots with a rap song at the beginning because hey, it'll appeal to kids better that way *destroys 4Kids* DIE DIE DIE!!! @Aretoo O_O I hadn't realized that, that IS harsh
..I had to stop watching.
But yes, that show was horridly butchered by 4kids. *sheds a tear for neighbors lost*

@aretoo I was actually quite pleased with how they handled Miyazaki films, but then they didn't really have to edit his films much
@K0m0 4Kids makes me try and rip my ears and eyes out >< it needs to die

CURSE BEING SO YOUNG.
Actually, I have a kinda cool story about that... When Nightmare Before Christmas came out, I was working concessions, and a woman came to my line, and as we were talking (one of the reasons I was so good at concessions; I LOVE movies, and talking about them), I noticed she had one of Jack's heads as a pendant. I mentioned it, and she told me it was one of Jack's ACTUAL heads; her son was an animator for them, and sent it to her!

aretoo Worse... I was *working* for a movie theater at the time. (Somewhere around I have the original "teaser" poster for Beauty and the Beast, with the two of them in silhouette)

@Sanzo: 'Tis true, they didn't have to be edited, and they resisted the temptation to do so; that being said, they actually got voice talents that suited the characters, and good actors to boot. ^_^
