Not since koyaanisqatski have I been so entertained by so little, La Belle. I can easily understand why it has such a devoted following, but I can also easily see how it escaped the notice of a wide audience. The movie was amazing, but go into knowing that will be unlike anything else that you've watched.

Oh god... you've seen Koyaanisqatsi? I've seen it and its sequels. Well... not true, I had a migraine during the last one and got to go home from class.

Yeah, we watched it one of my design classes. I was absolutely fascinated by how interesting the banality of modern society can be. How organic technology truly is. It was beautiful.

I watched it in drama class... I have to say the first one had me captivated in parts and others I was completely wanting to die. Powaqqatsi was the one that I really liked, but I just wanted to hurt things during Naqoyqatsi, but that was probably my migraine talking.

I really did like the names though, I thought it was cool. Koyaanisqatsi: life out of balance. Powaqqatsi: life in transformation. Naqoyqatsi: life as war.

EDIT: And whoa... the subforums are all changey.

Yeah, the only one that I've seen was Koy..... I think that it would be fun to see the others, but I've been too lazy to track them down.

I know that where I used to work they only sell the first one. You'd probably have to buy the other two online to get them. Or maybe stalk my old drama teacher XD

The second one focuses on human life and interaction, it's REALLY cool, I think.

I'm pretty sure that if I looked I could find them pretty easy online, but I'm either too lazy or too poor to buy them at any given time.

RE: Subforums — There's been much discussion about them lately and the general consensus was to bring back the IDD (somehow). It's just too bad we couldn't do it without adding a new sub...

I just noticed that the sub forms changed to.

Never seen those movies you guys are talking about. Although it sounds like a show I saw on organic farming and how big companies plant false seeds on an organic farmers land and frame them with stealing.

How does that remind you of what we're talking about??

And it was just surprising, they're all changey and I was like... "whoa... I'm Keanu Reeves with a little bit of David Caruso thrown in."

I used some abstract terms when describing Koy...i, La Belle. Read what I said about it in a concrete manner. xd

@Inmate — Koyaanisqatsi is basically just time-lapse video of life happening set to music. There's traffic flow, factory lines, supermarket lines, etc., set to music. It's quite an amazing thing, really.

Even so, I don't think I could EVER sit through it a second time.

Tsuji, if you're referencing your oxymoronic statements, I caught that XD
