gonk all my hugs left the city as of 2 this afternoon! gonk But Mike just messaged me that he got to Lethbridge safely, so I feel a little better. Maybe I'll go visit my brother tomorrow if I'm feeling super crappy. I got a facebook message from my friend's mom and she is so dosed on morphine, needs it every 15 minutes, it looks like she will be moved directly into hospice care from the hospital and won't be able to go home... ever really. Her mom says she doesn't really understand what anybody is saying to her anymore, I'm assuming because of the pain or the drugs or both. She asked her mom to pass on the message to everyone that it is time to say goodbye and she wants us all to look after ourselves and each other. We're all hoping for a quick end to the agony now, there's nothing anyone can do.
I think I'll go to bed for real now, I feel better having at least had some communication with Mike, even if it was just him telling me he made it and is going to bed now.
