IMWanderling We're still up! Hooray! I think I need to go download RO while I wait. Does anyone else play? I know Kitterz does. I should ask her what her online name is for RO. ninja Edit: Is it made by the creators of Gaia? eek I used to play RO on a illegal server but it closed downIt's a real good game, but you have to pay per play...which is effort! Especially when it gets addictive...!

i dont like games where i have to pay money continuously. Gaming should always be a one time payment deal.

My wish would never come true gonk The misery gonk Even if money didn't exist, people would still work things out through barter ("Hey, I'll trade you six eggs for some of your cow's milk") or services ("Hey, I'll work for you if you feed me and give me a place to sleep"). That's how money came about - there were too many arguments about the value of stuff ("six eggs? You're crazy! My milk's worth much more than that!") and things were valued differently in different seasons (apples are worth less in fall because that's when they're common) or from year to year (say a drought came through - field crops would skyrocket in price), so a common currency that would stay the same value (theoretically) was needed. 3nodding This has been Sheer's bit of random trivia for today...

Also if everything was free, people would take certain things for granted, things wouldn't have any value, people would want to take the easiest jobs, and million of other problems that would ruin the economy.
