Kals is questing again!I worked in my hometown's museum when I was 16. Before that it was stuff like babysitting, house sitting, dog sitting, and housecleaning, none of which really counts as a job. Check sig for details!

That sounds like a neat job. I've done the babysitting one too as well as yard work for a friend, that one semi-counts as a job I think.

I... also started at the McDonald's level. Not the most glamorous, but it is a job. Only worked there for six months, though. Moved on to a thrift store, and then took a break for college, which I am currently in. And Kusa, I'm fine.

I started with fast food too. I worked at Burger Time for 11 months in high school. To date I've done fast food (crew and supervisory), lawn grooming, delivery driving, assembly, and retail. I'll stick with the convenience store that I'm at right now for a year or so, then look for something more interesting.

aretoo sneaks into the thread, ninja-glomping all, then settles into the corner at a small table... "Tomato and avocado, dicing; can of solid white tuna, opened; greens awaiting in bowl; olive oil and vinegar and garlic salt on hand. Sounds like lunch to me!"
My first job? (Which is to say, my first REAL job, and not picking berries or mowing lawns for pocket change. aretoo was a farm kid, after all, and was expected to do his share of farm chores for free...) wink I worked in the shipping department for a company that made circular saws and marketed a full range of hand and power tools / accessories. It has since been folded into Vermont American, if that means anything to anyone. smile (That job, by the way, morphed into working in the graphics department after about 2 years...) mrgreen

"Cap'n! 'Tis Tsuji... he canna take the strain! He's givin' it all he's got!"
"Dammit, Jaft, I'm a raccoon, not an admin!"
"Leaving Tsuji in this state would be... illogical."
"We come in peace. CLEAR!"
