Januff's returning smile was automatic. "She might have eaten before she came to find us." She ignored the butterflies in her stomach, fixing her gaze on Suzie so she wouldn't do something stupid. Like blush. Which she did anyway. Crap.

Suzie's stomach ached, but she didn't say anything lest she put he foot in her mouth like she tended to do. She had some hard break wrapped in her pouch that she could have later, anyway, left over from the trip there.

Januff's eyes widened a bit. "C-cute?" Her tail whipped back and forth, and she searched for a response. None was forthcoming, and she was grateful when they reached the bottom of the stairs. She gave herself over to the distraction, going over in search of food.

He nodded back to her and found a table for them and marked it then went to the buffet to get some grub

Suzie couldn't have been more glad for that buffet. she went straight for it without a second thought. She loaded up her plate with food before actually taking in her surroundings.

Jack happened to walk past her "Heh, someone is excited" he then went to another buffet table to grab some bacon

Suzie jumped at the sound of his voice, but continued to pile meat and egg filled noodles and dumplings onto her plate, before sitting casually at a clear table. she tried to eat slowly, but it was one of the hardest things she'd had to do. She was absolutely starving, and it had been a long while since she was alllowed to eat this much food without stealing it.

Januff filled her plate, then came and sat across from Suzie, beginning to eat. There was a lot less on her plate than Suzie's, but still more than she would've normally gotten. She glanced at the other girl's plate, unable to help thinking about Leo. They would have to be more alert now- their was one more person's safety to consider.

Jack soon returned and sat next to Januff and started eating as well "You alright there, hun? you got stare goin on like your ponderin sumthin?" he looked at her

Januff blinked and looked at Jack, had she been staring? She gave a smile, turning back to her plate. "I was just thinking of the look on Leo's face when we tell him."

At that Jack smiled "Heh, oh now you got me pondering as well, we should make it an intresting suprise"

Suzie blinked up at them, mouth full, before swallowing and tiltin her head curiously to the side. She wasn't a girl of many words.
