owaitanku It's my first AMV as I mentioned before. Although not my first music video. I actually had like 75% of it done in a couple of days and then i didn't touch it for a month >.< but a couple of days ago I started work on it again, fixed most of the millisecond flashes of things that aren't supposed to be there and tweaked the ending. Yay me! I'm now starting a Ghost in the Shell AMV and shall start working to finish my Pirates of the Carribean Music Vid.

La Belle Isolde Just keep checking in on yourself every once in a while to make sure that you still believe the same thing and that you still think it's right. Continuously examine yourself otherwise you can't grow as a person. I know many Christians who forget the whole point very quickly. Don't get too caught up in scripture that you forget some of the basics of right and wrong and lose touch with reality. Also, don't forget that even if you mostly agree with Catholicism, there are always some flaws with a system run by "sinners" as people are. We are not perfect, only God is. I have only one goal, and that is to live as Christ lived. I may fall but I will never move my eyes from that goal. If you had found your love, I ask you, would you ever change course? I do not live by scripture alone, but by the bread that Christ gives. ...heh. This all looks very rhetorical, doesn't it? Something ground into the brain of every Christian to brainwash them! "There is no thinking for yourself!" Popes and priests with fangs and claws waiting to prey upon your unsuspecting children in the night, indoctrinating a brainwashed mass with pornography and racism and all sorts of hate that we can't even NAME because they're so foul! Fie on them, fie on them! Those were the sorts of things that I used to think. Why then, did I ever become a Christian, let alone a Catholic, for God's sake? I am not in charge. God is. Christ promised us the Church until the end of time. He promised the Spirit to the Church until the end of time. Men may be the visible portion of the Church, but it is guided by the Spirit of God. It's High Priest is not a man upon the earth, but God Incarnate. This Is The Truth. I will swallow it without dilution, without disillusion, in delusion if need be! And of this I am proud. I agree completely and whole-heartedly with Catholicism, not just mostly. What I do not understand, I leave in God's hands to sort out. If He wants it sorted out... it will be sorted out.

I disagree strongly with a lot. Largely the papal system. I DESPISE that pope Ratz is changing a lot of the wonderful work that John Paul had done. Also, another thing to note, being raised in a Catholic school I do know a lot of the intricacies and double-binds the church creates. Things are not so clear-cut once you get deeper into things, Eien, so be careful. But, I support you in your search for truth and goodness and hope you find in Catholicism what I find elsewhere.

God will sort nothing He gave us a chance for his blessing on earth and we blew ******** big time several times now the only thing he deals with is letting believers or people who do good in to heaven where he most likely teaches us life again.
saying God will sort it/save it/whatever is in my opinion a way to blame God but also a way in which People are forgotten for example when people survive something deadly in the hospital and they thank God not the great people who did all they could to save your life
just what I think Eien not an attack on you

You see the change that he is bringing about in a negative light. I see it in a positive one - the Holy Spirit will not allow a change that is contrary to God's plan for the Church, nor will it allow things already made in error to stand long. If it is the work of Pope John Paul II that was in error, it will be changed. If it is the changes that Pope Benedict XVI is making to that, it will mot be long in the life of the Church until it is changed. I would be very interested to know of them, if you would care to share about them, La Belle, even if I don't plan to move deep into the workings of the Church myself. And if I cut myself, then I shall be cut. But I will not leave my Christ, now that He has found me, even so unworthy as I am. And I pray that God bless you in yours. Quote: God will sort nothing He gave us a chance for his blessing on earth and we blew ******** big time several times now the only thing he deals with is letting believers or people who do good in to heaven where he most likely teaches us life again. saying God will sort it/save it/whatever is in my opinion a way to blame God but also a way in which People are forgotten for example when people survive something deadly in the hospital and they thank God not the great people who did all they could to save your life just what I think Eien not an attack on you God will sort everything out. We are given a chance for his blessing every day, every moment that we breathe. It is not about what someone else did long ago, but what you try to do right now. Cain was not damned for his deed, and even great sinners have a chance for the Life Eternal (given a layover in Purgatory first). If there is error it is with man, not with God, if there is victory it is God, not with man. For example, the tower of Babel would still be standing today if it were built for the glory of God, testament to the skill and prowess of man. But man built it for his own glory and so it was cast down (not literally). Thank God for the works that He was wrought through man, and He will repay them beyond all belief and far out of proportion. Would you prefer a penny today or the wealth of Fort Knox tomorrow? This is what I believe, not to put on you, Shram. Friends? biggrin

I bought it originally because I thought it was going to be violent. The first DVD was rated M then the rest were like G lol. I still liked it but probably more for the girls. Its basically about a boy who morphs into a master thief when he gets horny over the girl he likes xd All though thats a very stretched description xd

And for all this talk about God and religion and stuff. I don't really believe in anything. Mainly because I just look at all the bad stuff that has happened because of it. I mean think about all the wars that would never have happened if religion didn't exist? But having said that, I also recognise the fact that in times of diaster, tragerdy and everyday it also gives people comfort and happiness. ( I also don't like the idea of possibly going to Hell to burn for eternity. That's kind of slack if you ask me)
I also have a kind of scientific mind set. I don't think it is possible for the entity God to exist. I definately believe in some higher power which control the universe, I like to call them the Powers that Be. I think of God more as a force, like motion, or wind etc.
I do though under stand that in this universe of infinite possiblities God may very well exist. But I think there would be a scientific way of proving it, much like with magic and phychic energies.
Well thats my rant xd
In short: arrow I don't believe in God, just The Powers That Be arrow Religion has contributed to great wars and suffering, but also to helping people and rebuilding lives.

And if I cut myself, then I shall be cut. But I will not leave my Christ, now that He has found me, even so unworthy as I am. And I pray that God bless you in yours. God helps those who help themselves though, and I believe that if people think that anyone, even the pope is committing something they believe to be wrong (such as editing the sacred text of the bible - you can find blatantly missing passages that go from verse 1 to 3 and the like - I have seen those passages with my own eyes and past popes have admitted to editing the text that has a warning at the beginning that you should not tamper with the words within) then you can take strength from the Holy Spirit and stand up for the injustice. It is the passive nature people take, assuming that God does all the work. It's the man in the flood story: Quote: There is a story told about a man who was stranded in his housed during a flood. A boat came to rescued him awhile he was standing on his doorstep, surrounded by water. But he waived the rescuer off, saying ‘God will rescue me!” The following day the water rose and another boat came to rescue the man now stuck on the upstairs balcony. He again refused help, shouting, ‘God will rescue me!’ Late the next day, he found himself sitting on the chimney, the waters swirling around him. A helicopter hovered overhead, an man shouting, ‘ Lets help you!’ But the man shouted back, ‘God will rescue me!’ As fate would have it, the water rose and the man drowned. He arrived in heaven in a not-so-good mood, complaining to Saint Peter, ‘ I expected you to rescue me!’ ‘Frankly, I am surprised to see you here,’ Peter replied, ‘because we sent two boats and a helicopter to pick you up!’ Both God and Satan have to work through people, so let the Holy Spirit work through you if you see things happening, don't just assume God will make it right. An inconsistency is also, I was taught in school that it was alright (officially) to be a homosexual if you didn't act on those urges. Pope Benedict has (last I checked) gone back on the policy that gay men can be priests based on archaic logic and assumptions, going against everything that I have been taught even in school. If one does not have sex and takes a vow of celibacy, orientation should not matter as the priest is married to God. I was incredibly fed up by the time I left the church, to me the election of pope Ratz was a sign that the church really didn't know it was doing. Because that man has some horrible inconsistencies that I cannot stand.
