crying I'm jealous... I love Monty Python, and ANYTHING that David Hyde Pierce and Hank Azzaria does is worth at least one viewing.
However... I did get to see the musical Hairspray in Seattle before it went to Broadway... smile

gonk I haven't seen any musicals on stage. Ever. I feel so... uncultured and young.

I got to see the Producers without Matthew Broderick too. It was nice. Mind you, that means no Nathan Lane. Alan Ruck (the best friend from Ferris Bueller's Day off) pwns Matthew Broderick in talent. So hard.

My neighbors gave me tickets for my birthday (a couple different years) to the traveling shows of The Wiz and A Chorus Line. ...Frankly, A Chorus Line stuck better, and hooked me for life. (many, MANY years later I actually got to BE in A Chorus Line in a semi-professional production in the area...) mrgreen

I've only been in high school musicals. I can't read music so I can't audition well for the higher level ones sad

Sorry I left, I went to play Smash Bros Brawl. ^^
aretoo: Of course I'd like to see you in a musical. It'd be awesome. >w< I do musicals, but they're amateur parodies. This year we're doing "Armageddon Idol."
La Belle: Yeah, I can't sight read either. I'd need to carry a little electric keyboard with me or something.

Often with community theater if you can move and carry a tune (and can learn your music quickly), it doesn't matter as much if you can't read it. It *helps*, of course, but... smile
And now I gots to hit the road; talk to ya all soon! ^_^

Bye bye aretoo! *glomp-huggle-cling* I don't like to say anything good about myself usually, because it makes me feel as though I'm becoming vain, but I'm complimented a lot on my singing. ^^

I saw Cats at a local high school the next town over. It was nice but not as good as seeing the professional touring group at the local performing arts center. That was awesome ^_^ But I would have loved to see it on Broadway, I've heard from people who saw it there that it was incredible crying
