it's a catholic thing, for lent, you're supposed to give up something for 40 days and nights. something difficult. Most choose meat, as it's one of the easier things to do. but for some reason fish is exempt. why, I dunno. but my grams is pretty hard core catholic, and well...it's not fun to piss her off about religious stuffs...
Me, I'm more of a...opportunistic catholic. I'm only catholic when it's good for me.
