Which apparently meant she was supposed to be going after the red ball... Quabble? Was that what it was called? Chaser at least made sense, you were supposed to chase the ball. She watched the Asian boy on the other team steal the ball from Lena, and frowned. Okay, so she had to try and get it back, right? She could do that... Maybe.

Max Took a seat in the stands it seemed he was a little late but on the upside, the game was just starting. Max only went to the pitch to watch the practice he thought that it would be cool to play but his dad had told him it was unlikely for first years to make the team though he was confused as to why there only seemed to be one keeper? as Max scanned the players he noticed one was a first year what was her name something witchy "oh that's cool and kind of a bummer, well there's always next year." he muttered to himself shaking off a modicum of self-pity. Max smiled watching the first few moments of chaos including a steal by the first year girl and the older boys retrieval "Oh this guy is good, this is gonna be great."

Barely missing a bludger and an extra steal attempt he continued his goal run. If he spotted his teammate and the situiaton called for it, he would pass. But he was almost there!

There! He could barely make out the tinge of yellow against the stands that were decked out in green and silver. He chased the ball as it wove past Ravenclaw's section then swerved to the middle of the field crossing over the chasers. Gavin had to bob and weave past Helena and Hikaru just to keep up with the snitch.
