Saverio heard foot steps and quickly got his plan. He took off his socks and silently took the clip out of one of his pistols. He put the gun and the other sock into his left sock and shaped it to look like a foot. He put it on the wall he was hiding behind and pushed it out so the "toes" where visible. He them loudly cocked the gun and silently stepped down the hall and silently tippy toed to the other side of the floor. Now he was opposite of his sock decoy and hiding on the wall once more.
((I am on the other side of the store room hiding on the wall so I am behind you all and the gun c**k was very audible. ))

Halfway out the door, Pickles paused. She turned to Lin and Slim. "Did you guys hear that? Or am I just crazy?"

The sword dropped back to where Arcanas was standing, and a neatly carved hole was in place of the ceiling.
"Looks like I still have it...now, a little earth element now..."
Drawing both swords, and crouching, he pushed off with both of his legs simultaineously.
"Grand Stream!"
The force of this technique he had hoped would propel him through at least 3 floors, though he wasn't sure. He didn't want to have to use another cannon blast, as those were taxing on his body.

Slightly suspicious, since no one really knew where Jimmy stood with UndaCorp, Kals shrugged and trotted off towards and express lift. As she walked, she tapped in a code on her wrist console, programming the lift to go straight to an area very close to the storeage room.
"Right this way, Sir James. I could have sworn I heard something though."

Saverio silently pressed his back to the wall and waited, "Two so far, and she said 'you guys', so there is at least three of them." Saverio slid the clip he took from the gun into his pocket as he thought that. He was ready all he needed was to wait a little longer.

"Helllooo?" From the entrance, Xanatos called out. "Oy! Liinn! Milady?" Taking a few steps inside, he folded his arms across his chest and frowned. This was the first time he had decided to visit his friends at UndaCorp, but he had the distinct feeling the building wasn't usually so dark. He stood just inside the entrance for a moment, contemplating his next course of action as he studied his surroundings...

(to clarify on what exactly is IN my briefcase, lest I start pulling things out willy nilly, here's a list: SWAT baton and shield, tazer, pepper spray, a bit of ammo, a cellphone, grappling hook, papers.....lots....and lots...of papers..., and general office supplies (staplers, white-out, etc). Also, please forgive me if I get the positioning wrong...)
There had always been training programs at UndaCorp to prepare employees for various catastrophical occurrances, and while it was nice learning self-defense with tazers and batons, Slim could never get the hang of guns...So, needless to say that when she flipped her pistols into action and fired off a shot at what she thought to be an exposed foot, it missed by a few feet.
"Bugger," she thought frustratedly, creeping closer with her allies at her back.

Saverio heard a shot and thought "They fell for it!" He jumped from around the wall and shot at their backs unlaoding the whole clip of 10 shots at them shooting at all areas of the hall way as to hit as much as possible.
((I am behind you all now. You all are in the hall way and I am shooting down it.)

Though she was standing at the front of the group and was fairly quick on her feet, there was no way Slim could have avoided being hit after all those shots were fired. Sustaining two bullet wounds, one light one to her side and another in her right forearm, she dashed around the wall and pressed her back against it, panting heavily and crying silently.
"Bullets hurt a lot...lot more than the movies make it look," she muttered, glancing at her forearm. "Ah, hell..."

Arcanas crashes through the hallway where Saverio and Lin and company had a little shoot out, but not being skilled with the earth element, he had passed right by them, leaving a gaping hole in the floor and ceiling. He finally comes to a stop at the floor above.
"...I'm never doing that again"
Looking back down the hole, he catches a glimpse of Slim running for cover, blood trailing down her arm.

Standing in the middle of the group, between Slim and Lin, Pickles was fairly safe. But, as the shots rang out, and her companions moved, she became exposed. She took off, and ran back into the storeroom, sustaining a few slight injuries on the way.

One by one, the lights in the hallway that Saverio and Slim battled on seemed to flicker and die, starting at the far ends of the hallway and slowly seeming to advance closer and closer until, at last, the entire room was engulfed in darkness. A chill swept through the room, an oncoming dread filling the bodies of those unfortunate enough to have been caught in the hallway. A noticeable red mist seemed to rise from the ground, giving just enough light to illuminate the dark figure that had entered the room, standing without fear in front of Saverio.

Undakai frowned darkly looking up at the numbers on the elevator as it climbed.
"Damn...just missed him."
He gave a heavy sigh and turned around, surveying the mess that the first floor of his corporation had become, noticing a lone figure standing there, looking somewhat bewildered.
"Ah, hello there, is there anything I can assist you with, Xan?"
