"Or a cat." Alia jerked her thumb towards Jade. "The doors have been open all day. A cat in the library would go unnoticed by any lingering authorities. They don't care. And the librarian is dead, so I don't think we'll have any problems there."

Jade smiled and and swished her tail. "Ok, but if you hear me meow loudly, that's means I was caught!" She turned into a regular house cat.

Jade walked into the the library, jumping onto a table, then a shelf. She jumped from shelf-to-shelf until she got to the back corner of the library. She turned back into a human, opened the door, and locked it one she got inside. She looked around the room until she saw a book titled "Dark Magic and Demons" "This has to be it!" Jade said and turned into a bobcat, putting the book in her mouth. She took the book back outside and turned back into a human, removing the book from her mouth. "This has to be the book!"

as they waited Alex decided to lighten the air "so Leon how did you meet Jade?"

"Well, my parents were rich, and we were having a gala, and I was about 4 around then. She was there, and we've been friends since." Leon said talking the book from Jade. "Wow, pretty old looking!" He commented as Jade nodded.

"but if this book was in the restricted area, how did the blacksmith get access to it?"

Jade shrugged. "As I said earlier, they give some people access to it. You can even pay them to let you in!"

"Money, the ultimate all-access key." Alia scoffed. "So, just what are we looking for in this book?"

"i say we should try to find out what he was trying to do with that pentagram"

"but how are we going to do that?" loretta thought maybe following him around, but she considered the fact that Leon was his nephew. that would kind of sound like stalking, but maybe the others would think it was a good idea. she didnt take the chance, and just stood there quietly.

Leon handed the book back to Jade and she flipped through the pages. "Yup, right here under Demons." Jade said, slashing her tail back and forth.
