"Not at such a pretty table, at least." Meiyu laughed, sitting back and inspecting the claw.

Fang laughed, "Toxic."

Sebastion smiled and laughed, looking at the claw with his friend. He was entranced by it.
"I was thinking that it was from a large cat," he said, voicing his thoughts, "But there were no pawprints."

Tori laughed. Of course she would pick that word.
"Cat," he said, making a meow sound.

"Takes." She leant forward, leaning on the table.

Meiyu said to his friend, "What if it's a mixed breed? It could have had wings and had been flying when he lost the claw. Some animals/ demons lose their claws and fangs seasonally.

Sebastion leaned back in his chair, thinking.
"It could be...but we would need proof. I would need to go back up near the border."

"Sandwich," he said, smiling and laughing when dessert was put on the table.

"is that where the human armies have been, though?" He asked, worriedly.

"Holder." She smirked, and watched the dessert come in, licking her lips.

Sebastion nodded, thinking. The human armies were getting persistant, trying to get into the country. It was very annoying. He shouldn't have had to go and try to make treaties, but a guy with wings didn't exactly help with being on good terms.
"Maybe if I went with some people who aren't Royals..." he thought. He was thinking of maybe Fang and Meiyu, but he didn't want to endanger them.

tori took a bite of his ice cream, swallowed and said, "Rest."

"Treats!" She scooped up some ice cream for herself and plopped it into her mouth.

Meiyu smiled, "I'd happily go with...I'm sure there'd be plenty for me to study." he smiled, "But remember, I've been employed by Tori, as has Fang."

Sebastion nodded, thinking.
"Well, I could always bring Torisen with us," he said with a sigh, "It would give him battle practice, if nothing else."

Tori laughed and took another bite. "Sprinkles!"

"soft-serve." Fang poked him with her now empty spoon.

Meiyu frowned, "I'm not sure that would be a good thing, with ...the bloody king... inside him." he frowned, "But it would be nice for us all to go."

Sebastion nodded. They would continue with the Bloody King topic later.
"We shall all go then," he said, smiling. It would be the first time Torisen had ever left the city.

Tori laughed. "That was mean!" he laughed, thinking of another word. "Extra."

"Alert." Fang replied without hesitance.
Meiyu smiled, "How great, my friend. Now, let us feast." he dug into the food.

Sebastion laughed, lifting his glass to his friend.
"To discoveries!" he said, drinking deeply. he had drained half of the glass in his toast and then he began eating the ice cream.
"Not bad," he said with a smile.

Tori wasn't going to hesitate either. If she wanted to play, he could play.
"Tomatoe!" he said, taking a quick bite of ice cream and waiting for her response.

"Everlasting." she bit back, competitively, and had some more.

Meiyu nodded, "it's all, waaay, more expensively deciicious than I remember." he laughed, eating up.

"I have no doubt that Torisen had a hand in that," Sebastion said with a light chuckle, "These are all foods that he told me he would serve his first guests when he was King."

"Grass," he said, eating more ice cream and trying to eat it slowly, that way he didn't get a stomach ache or a brain freeze.

"Well, then I am honored." Meiyu grinned, finishing up.
"Sebastian." she said in a sing-songy voice.
