T'sar reached for more firestone only to find their supply low. Glad that they were in the low altitude wing, he had Adarith call to one of the young dragons to bring them up some replacement stone, and T'sar was nearly knocked off Adarith's back by the wild throw. The young rider apologized but T'sar did nothing but glare at her as he refilled his bag.

The huff in reply was all T'sar needed to know that Adarith was still doing very well. They hadn't come across much in terms of Thread yet, but they were about to cycle up into the highest altitude. It was good that they wouldn't need to pop back to the weyr just yet.

T'sar and Adarith flew on, unaware to the danger above, until a shimmering bronze turned tightly to flame above them. T'sar looked up to spot the Thread that would have surely hit them. He gave a little nod to C'sar as Adarith gave a little grunt of thanks to Illiandinth. He'd give thanks where it was due, but it wasn't going to be gushing praise.

This time they weren't so lucky. A gust of wind pushed them off course and right into some thread. Thankfully it was just a bit and a quick jump Between took care of the pain, but it did leave a little mark on his legs. Annoying.
While looking over the damage on himself and Phylideth, T'mor noticed danger on the horizon and informed his dragon to warn Shahera and Therianth before they got too close to it. Being sharp was part of his job, after all.

Something doesn't feel right. You wind up glancing over your shoulder just in time to see a small, silver strand drifting dangerously close to your dragon. Thankfully, your dragon shares your thoughts, and is able to blink Between and higher above their position, missing the strand, and saving yourself from a score. [+1 Instinct]
The wind was making things a little tricky, but they all had each other's backs up here, now didn't they? Still, T'mor was a bit on edge and peering up over his shoulder he spotted it - and sent Phylideth away to safety without hesitation. There was no reason to be caught!

Maybe it was their old bones sending them into a bad position again - or simply bad luck. Everything had seemed bad since Hestya and Herath had been gone....and maybe it was that distraction that made them an easy target for another clump of thread - and another sharp jolt of pain.
