Okay. That was one too many paws to the face. The Green Olive queens were clearly done, and the red eyed twin glared furiously at her sisters. Go bother someone else! This time it was a command, and... ... and...
AUUUGH! What an awful sister they had! Reproachfully, vengefully, the pair of greens were forced to turn away from the golds and... and what? Well, Blue and Purple Paint egg wasn't going to stand for this! Clearly the queens' Candidates were out there somewhere, and she was going to find them.
So, without even a backward glance, she came roaring into the middle of the knot of Candidates, a whirling ball of fury and unbridled disgust. Someone was going to pay for what had happened, and it might as well be them. Seeing this, the Brown Paw Print green decided to stalk angrily up and down the line of candidates, searching for someone in particular.
... Watching with mounting horror, both queens realized that their sisters might just be outside of their reach now.
((Note: If you want to be hurt by Blue and Purple Paint, you can. Please don't just off your Candidate, though, because you don't know who might Impress.))

Aryale
There were other dragons on the sands to pay attention to than the scuffling foursome, Aryale glancing off after Funfetti to where he had gone to sulk, then off after Daisy and the Gay Flag twins - even the Ace Flag Twins (neither of them would likely give her a second look) and Blue Spotted Bronze (also would definitely not give her a first look).
Bone Egg had been a mostly unknown when they'd become overwhelmed before she'd had her chance to meet them the first time.....and -
Aryale's heart jumped into her chest as the Blue and Black Rosette Egg lurched. Oh, how she hoped it would be a green...or a blue.....something that would want her. Someone that would want her. She was very, very stupid to get that little flicker of hope be nurtured for any of these eggs. But hope was better than bitterly preparing for the worst.
Which was still likely in the cards - but Aryale wouldn't fear the circling greens until they gave her a reason to. As the two who had been fighting with their golden sisters started drawing closer, she couldn't help but carefully move as well, slowly keeping her distance.
Arm's length always with unhappy hatchlings. -----
Matotoka
Ah, time to respect some boundaries. Matotoka would have been remiss to admit he wasn't exactly keen to test how docile or aggressive any of the babies could be before impression based off of warnings. Such warnings existed for a reason, though.
"Maybe," he relented, not thinking on it too hard. If there wouldn't be concrete answers to be found for wondering, he didn't see a reason to ponder it too hard.
"Spirit is good. The question is will they pick someone with just as much spirit to temper theirs?" Was that sort of a thing a conscious- no, he needed to stop wondering about things he'd never know about. "I'm expecting we'll see some tusslin' for a while longer though..."
Especially with the addition of a few more greens....Greens that were really close... "Better keep clear of them..." And as the two that had been enraged by their golden sister's joined in, Matotoka squared up his shoulders. "Maybe especially them..."
-----
Papys
More greens! Papys did appreciate the brown and their bronze friends (and twin) but the greens were more plentiful and more on the move...how could he not enjoy watching them as they made their rounds? Each one as lovely as the rest - and more so in their own ways.
Was there anything that would keep him from smiling?

Xanael
Eggs shaking, eggs dancing. Shells cracking, dragons... fighting. Well, this was very similar to what he'd seen up at High Reaches half a turn before. Given it was only his third stand Xanael expected nothing and everything all at once. All he had to do was just keep himself from being killed once this all spilled into the candidates.
A few of the hatchlings were actually focusing on the candidates at least, rather than the battle between the golds and greens, a few had hatched and were rather quietly moving or sitting. Eventually the showdown would either calm down or someone would intervene and end it, or it would get worse. Either way, all he could do was focus on the babies all over the sands, all of them. Those newly hatched, those getting ready to fight. Surely no gold would ever impress towards him, that was just biological, but he anxiously hoped that all of the babies would be okay and unharmed.
But there it was, one of the greens had simply decided to blood her way through the candidates. Just like at High Reaches. Xan sighed and held up his arms in case she found her way over towards him in her fury. He liked green dragons, they were stunning, but it seemed each time it was always a green that decided to take out their frustrations on humans.
It was their right after all, and humans were made of so much fragile skin and blood.

Etansi
Despite having the boldness to have snuck away as she had, Etansi at least had the decency to squeak in terror and dismay when Erastan pounced upon her, heat rushing to her cheeks. Of course her brother found her and of course she had utterly missed seeing Aspalath entering into the cavern, what with her eyes upon the sands searching out to see her friends, watching what was happening as each new dragon spilled onto the sands. Greens and blues and golds and bronzes... it had been over a turn since she'd stood on sands and that hadn't been Western's sands. Her head fell just a bit and a cough shook her whole frame so hard that she leaned backwards into her brother.
"Should be down there." Her voice graveled out. "S'wrong with watching?" Pain was in her voice, Etansi wanted to be near her friends, wanted to protect them from the violence that was growing as each new baby hatched.
Still there was the underlying 'What if mine is out there?' thought that ran through her head. Hers would of course find someone more suitable.
Which was fitting, she wasn't very suitable.

The greens and queens continued to squabble, but Rundanrul had his eyes on a different pair of dragons. The Ace Flag egg had hatched, revealing two handsome males, a bronze and a brown. That was what Rundanrul was here for. He stood up a bit straighter, ignoring the squabbling females and the chaos they were causing, his thoughts receptive to the brown and bronze should they make their way over.
He did glance towards the two greens as they began to tear into the Candidates, though, snorting quietly. Enthusiastic to say the least. Hopefully they'd stay away from him.
---
Kateleel gave a startled yelp as Blue and Purple Paint egg launched herself into the Candidates rather close to him, Brown Paw Print stalking nearby as well. He held his ground for now but was watching the two greens with trepidation, hoping they didn't cause too much destruction among those standing.
---
And here we go, Fivudal thought to himself. He stopped shifting his weight and stood ready to go to whoever needed help or be ready for whoever was brought to the healers area of the sands.

Rio
Poor Funfetti blue! He looked so lorn as he trudged away and flopped down beside Shining Star, putting his head on the other egg as if it were a pillow. Poor fellow! He'd tried his best. But oh, the golds and the greens - especially the greens - weren't done. The hatchling from the Blue and Purple Paint Egg came flying through, and he immediately moved to keep out of her way - but with arms out for Rasthell and Nuamia, as he was hardly going to leave them behind.
Nashwa
The standoff was tense, as the blue's attempt to mediate failed and he removed himself from the situation. The greens were commanded to be on their way, and...well....perhaps that hadn't been the best idea. They turned their attentions to the candidates instead, and Blue and Purple Paint was pulling no punches. Everyone with sense did their best to get out of the way, but there was only so much one could do in the face of an angry hatchling and amongst a crowd. Had she been willing to get pushy, Nashwa might have escaped harm, but not even concern for her own life and limbs would drive her to shove someone out of her way - or worse, into the path of harm.
Claws caught at her robe and the skin underneath, opening long marks along her leg and forcing her to bite back a cry of pain. She would not. She was fine.
