One Step Closer...

This month is item month featuring Strife (pardon, Dr. Strife!) so it's going to be run a little different as it's our first item month this year. If things go as planned, there will be 3 kinds of flower (bunches?) for you to choose from. Previews will come around the 10th.

Everything is the same as normal, except for the WC.
If you'd like one of the items, you need 250 wc.
If you'd like two of the items, you need 750 wc.
If you'd like all three of the items, you are going to have to give me 1500 wc.
All of these WCs are per Rp'er.

The Setting/Build Up:

You are enjoying an exploring walk with a friend (who either cannot have wings or cannot carry something large) while you are enjoying the spectacular view from the top of a mountain or cliff. You are being careful, but sometimes things still happen. One moment you're walking by the side of your friend a few feet from the edge when the ground crumbles beneath you. When you come to, you hear your friend yelling your name. If you have wings, they are too damaged to fly. You're very disoriented, but you finally hear that your friend is yelling for you not to move. Then you see why. Somehow on your tumble down the cliff, you've been stopped (quite violenty) by a protruding tree or some shrubbery. How it's supporting you at all, is anyone's guess. If you move very much though it's not going to hold and you will fall to your death.

The Prompt:

Write an RP for the benchmark you are going for that explains your situation. You're there for hours. How hard is it not to move? How do you keep from moving? Does the branch start to give? What are you thinking about? How do you pass the time?

Or (if you're the friend) what do you do when you see your friend has fallen and by some miracle they still live. What do you do? What do you have to go through to get help? How far do you have to go? What do you come up with?

Your rp can use one or both of these prompts. Each RP should also conclude with how the soquili who's fallen is rescued. (Remember,if you have wings, they are out of commission. Your friend can't support your weight. It's going to take either a group to rescue you or some kind of inspired rescue by one or two friends.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Sometimes stuff happens and you just can't help it--because of that June RP Games are postponed.

What that means for you? IF you've already started posting your RP for this month (thanks for doing it on blind faith) you'll get 10 points .You'll get to keep your RP's and use them for when we come back to this prompt in August. They will be locked July 1st.

Everyone else who fnishes their RP by June 30, 11:59PM will get 10 points (not including the ones listed above-finsh it or not, you only get the 10 points once). HOWEVER, ANYONE who finishes before July will be entered into a raffle (one ticket each) for a up to 1-3 TEMPLATED items or breed traits as long as they comply with the rules. Only one person will be rolled.

EVERY RP that is not finished by June 30, 11:59PM will be locked till August
In light of that, everyone is going to get an early start (if you wish) on July's prompt.

WAIT. What about those of you who are keeping a thread for all of 2024, how are you going to post for July if it's locked? Message me, I'll have your WC for June written down and I'll unlock the thread for 24-48 hours so you can post for June.

JULY RP GAME

So sit back and pop a cold one. July is when us Americans get stupid with fireworks, normally because of drinking. If you're like me, you love hearing these stories of craziness from a safe distance.


July--summer parties, new grads, fireworks, and a lot of bad choices.

Because things have gotten all mixed up. July is starting early. This gives you an extra week (in case of you know, hangovers).

I present to you, BEER SHIFTERS! (Bear + Beer=Beer) Just in case you're like me and totally missed the pun.

PROMPT: That drink you had tasted a little strong or maybe that food tasted a little weird. Either way, something fermented way too long or was misidentified. This was not planned, it was an accident. Everything is starting to feel a little funny and look a little funny. In fact, everything is just funny.
