Crash Sixth Year Gryffindor
Crash remained steady as he held guard at the three goal posts. Again, the opposing team was advancing faster and faster while his team struggled steal after steal. It was a little disconcerting, but at least from his vantage point, he could easily pinpoint the silly little mistakes, the strengths and weaknesses of each player. Hopefully, future practices will help with improvements so long as he and Jacob can figure out what would need improving. So far, it seemed like stealing would be one of them. There were plenty of tactics, and, he was sure they could come up with some of their own if he and Jake could put their heads together. That quidditch cup was as good as theirs. When Leonette slowed down to line up her shot, Crash did his best at guessing which hoop she would go for. At the last second, she shot and he jumped. It was right in his sights! He knew he would catch it! So long as a freak gust of wind didn't screw everything up.

Perfect! Well, maybe not exactly perfect, it did nearly rebounded out of the palm of his hand. But he managed to bounce it back into his possession before it could fall into the green grassy fields. He blinked and glanced around, it seemed he had passed to both Nina and Tanya, so, he decidedly tossed the ball towards Axel to try and even out the chances between all of the players.

He could feel the welt blistering to the surface on his hipbone. It hurt to try and steer his broom, and he felt a dull throb in his elbow where that bludger had earlier bounced off of him. It was harder to focus, that was for sure. But there were girls who had been hit just as hard as he, and even more times, too. They were still fine! As much as he wanted to scream and cry and argue, he pushed himself on. The keeper tossed him the quaffle and he took off for the goals, eyes peeled open for a chance to make a quick pass.

Veronica glanced up to see a bludger heading towards Tanya from Toby's direction but was confident enough it would miss the first year. Toby really wasn't having much luck-he had already gotten one hit from her and then had managed to hit himself, which she always considered the most painful hits because it was embarrassing as well as painful. With a sigh she considered what other players were posing the most trouble for her team and the scrimmage and decided on Leo who she had already failed to hit before-but maybe this time make it. The girl was fairly good at dodging bludgers though.

David was hot on Julius' tail. He was gaining speed and hoped to pass the younger teen and get to the snitch first. All he needed was to get a clear opening and he'd be set to get a hold of the snitch. Hopefully one would come soon for him. Not that David was worried.

Leonette watched her rather pathetic throw go towards the goal. Sadly it was so pathetic Crash caught it. Watching as it was tossed to Axel she went to go after him only to get hit by a bludger in the arm. 'Ah.... that bloody hurt...' Leonette thought as she tried to shake it off. Like always she didn't even scream or show that it hurt. Pushing the pain back the brunette headed after Axel to get the quaffle back.

David was close. So close he could taste it. Though, he knew he shouldn't get over confident. To much confidence had always been David's down fall and he didn't want that to be the result now. Julius had just as much luck as he did, he wouldn't sell the kid short.
