(Alas, only my avatar can play violin; aretoo in real life is one of those "damned non-musician vocalists" as my friends who are in bands/orchestras call us) Doing well, though it's been an ...odd... day. I was supposed to find out if I'd been hired or not from my application last week, and was NOT supposed to find out that my Mom was having an emergency appendectomy. sweatdrop Alas, she did and they didn't. Other than that, a quiet night at home (visiting Mom *tomorrow* night when she's not out with the anesthetic), with Kusa playing FFVIII, and me kicking around the 'net.
By the way, Kerrigan, I suspect you might like what I'm reading. It's "Finder" by Carla Speed McNeil. Fantastic "aboriginal SF". mrgreen You can read a full story, and teasers of several others on the site. (Er, it's a series of graphic novels, by the way. It's PG-13 to R in rating, in places, too, by the way.)
