Bah! In the bigger cities it's moot point because the development acts as a giant heat sink.

Also, I never needed more than a light sweater in Phoenix, and I'm told it was especially cold that year. Then again, I am used to colder temps (STFU Kals, we know you like to b***h/brag about Canada). As a sidebar, I also didn't mind the summer heat. If I didn't like the season changes so damned much I'd probably move there permanently.
