It's from the aftercredits of an animated short I just saw: Big Buck Bunny. The rationale for making the video is to test new 3D technologies in Blender, but that doesn't mean that the video isn't amusing. It's quite fun. *leans toward the skritching, thumping foot*

heheh Actually, a LOT of Pixar's short films, in addition to being phenomenal stories, are intended to "test out" some new technology or process. ^_^

Mm... I can believe that. Short things are a good vehicle for testing in many things - at least I think so.
*nuzzles hand* Gaaah... ^_^

What else are middle school students good for? X3
IMO they're probably the hardest group to teach, considering physical changes, emotional changes, and group changes going on all at the same time. *nodnod*
And it's alright; I'm a bit busy here too. :3

Agreed re the students... some will get better through high school, though. smile
aretoo just picked up the first 2 seasons of SNL (well, several days ago now); as well as being a lot of fun, it's a really odd time capsule. smile
(I almost wish there were an option to re-install the original nationally-broadcast commercials, too; wouldn't THAT have been a sign of the times!) ^_^

Oooh... It really must be, considering the shows like to use current events, if I remember correctly. Lin hasn't watched the telly in ages.
I do love commercials though; they're very fun to watch. I'm particularly fond of the extreme commercials of the 90's.

Yeah... and the musical guests are always the "hot" groups of the day on SNL, too.
Guest-hosts and musical guests for 1975-1976:
10/11 George Carlin Billy Preston & Janis Ian (you'd probably recognize these all if you heard them, by the way, even if you don't recognize the names)
10/18 Paul Simon Simon & Garfunkel (post-break-up), Phoebe Snow, Randy Newman & The Jesse Dixon Singers
10/25 Rob Reiner Joe Cocker with John Belushi
11/8 Candice Bergen (later known for Murphy Brown) Esther Phillips
11/15 Robert Klein Abba, Loudon Wainwright III (Rufus' dad)
11/22 Lily Tomlin Howard Shore's All-Nurse Band (I'm NOT making this up)
12/13 Richard Pryor Gil Scott-Heron
12/20 Candice Bergen Martha Reeves & The Stylistics
1/10/76 Elliott Gould Anne Murray
1/17 Buck Henry Bill Withers & Toni Basil
1/24 Peter Cooke & Dudley Moore Neil Sedaka
1/31 d**k Cavett Jimmy Cliff
2/14 Peter Boyle Al Jarreau
2/21 Desi Arnaz Desi Arnaz (he was the musical guest as well as guest host)
2/28 Jill Clayburgh Leon Redbone
3/13 Anthony Perkins Betty Carter
4/17 Ron Nessen Patti Smith Group
4/24 Raquel Welch Phoebe Snow & John Sebastian
5/8 Madeline Kahn Carly Simon
5/15 Dyan Cannon Leon & Mary Russell
5/22 Buck Henry Gordon Lightfoot
5/29 Elliott Gould Leon Redbone, Harlan Collins, & Joyce Everson
7/24 Louise Lasser Preservation Hall Jazz Band
7/31 Kris Kristofferson Kris Kristofferson & Rita Coolidge
...And that's the guests from first season. ^_^
