spaceKiki wasn't surprised when she failed the toss-up, considering she'd been up against Emma. Her best friend's girlfriend was no joke on the pitch, and Kiki kind of admired her. But, that didn't mean she didn't have to try to steal from her, especially when Candace failed at doing so. Hopefully, she'd have more luck than the third year. She took off after Emma, leaning in close to try and snatch the ball.

After blasting a Bludger through one target, Hannah swooped around and looked for another Bludger to put toward the next target. While doing so, she also kept watch on Chance, the newest Beater, knowing how easy it was to have a Bludger get up in one's face. Again, broken bones straight out of the box was not the way to generate interest in the game.

spaceKiki gritted her teeth as she barely managed to edge away from Emma in time to keep possession of the ball. She sped up as much as she could manage, not for the first time wondering how speeding up on a broom even worked, and suddenly realized she was within shooting range. That... that had never happened before, she thought distantly. Then, she realized, duh, she was supposed to actually, you know. Shoot. Taking aim for the middle ring on the off chance her aim was so horrible but her luck so good it missed that one to go through one of the others, she threw the quaffle as hard as she could manage, and prayed.

With a sigh, she tore off after Emma, hoping to get the ball back and try again. Longshot, since she'd already managed to catch a pass and try to score in one go, but she couldn't slack off just because chances of success were minimal.
