Silver Hellsing ...... Does it matter what -kind- of heat? Cause I have like... desert heat. 8D Well from what I've read and common sense, I'd guess that anyone who gets very hot and sweaty during the night, makes their bed as soon as they get up, and doesn't bother to wash said sheets for a long while runs a high risk of inviting unwanted tenants.
In the old days that is the very reason why people aired out their mattresses. And they really had to. Most people had hay stuffed in their mattresses which is a great place to find bacteria and insects to start with.

Sleeping on hay sounds really uncomfortable. (I would have been a village idiot back then, so what the hell do I care?)
Eien: biggrin ?

It's probably better that the hard ground, but then the Japanese slept on the ground. But then I don't know if the Japanese had rats bent on sinking their teeth into anything edible in their cities. confused
Edit: Goes to eat. Bye all!

I am back. Indeed, because of mother dearest, I have to change my sheets every week. Doing that makes the sheet selection fairly boring; I just made the comment that I need new sheets when I pulled some out to make my bed.
