[M3Gnificent]

Mala laughed nervously. "Well, I haven't really started on it just yet. Just to be safe, you might want to be the one to cook breakfast today." she told him.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"You should probably get on that, lest I wind up doing all the work around here." Van joked as he got up and pulled on some pants before leaving the room.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"If that starts happening, at least I know how to pay you back for it~" Mala joked back, forcing herself out of bed a couple moments afterwards. She went on to go get herself dressed afterwards, smiling still to herself.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Kai! Larai! Time to come down for breakfast!" Van called once food was ready and the kids hadn't yet woken up.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai slipped herself out of bed and changed out of her nightgown into more appropriate day clothes. Right before she left the room she threatened quietly, "Kai, if you tell on me for last night I'll tell on you for that." After that, she skipped out of the bed and called out cheerfully, "Coming, daddy~"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I have no idea what you're talking about!" Kai said feigning innocence as he followed Larai with a yawn.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Exactly." Larai held up an innocent expression as well once they entered the kitchen, looking just as guiltless as always. One might have to wonder if she had done more things to break the rules without being caught as of yet.

Kai yawned again as he sat down at the dining room table, having not gotten as much sleep due to Larai's little late night escapade.

Larai was always so quiet and sleepy-looking, so it really didn't seem to affect her much. Thankfully, this wouldn't set off her parent's mental alarms as to something being suspicious about her. Kai, on the otherhand, was unusually sleepy.

"You look awfully tired this morning. Did you have a bad dream or something?" Mala asked Kai, raising an eyebrow as she asked this.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Nah, just uh, had trouble sleeping is all...." Kai lied as Van passed around the plates.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala nodded in understanding. "Okay. Feel free to tell me if there's anything I can do to help, okay sweetie?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Well, I would, but I'm currently getting blackmailed by my sister..." Kai muttered under his breath as he looked at Larai through the corner of his eye.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala hadn't heard what Kai said, and by now had begun to dig into her meal. "Oh, honey, this is delicious~"

Larai was just as silent as always, not even bothering to look over at Kai or her parents as she ate. This was, once again, nothing surprising of her.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Well, I've certainly had the practice over all these years." Van said with a chuckle as he dug in as well.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"It certainly shows. Er...tastes. You know what I mean." Mala said, before going on to continue with her meal.

Larai finished up rather quickly, having been feeling slightly hungry from the excess energy she used in healing up Daemon. "I'm finished. Please may I be excused? I'd like to sleep for a little longer..."
