At this, the ambulance hadn't stopped since it still had leeway to move to the right, and because of little space, tipped over the bridge when one of the soldiers shot the driver, causing him not to be able to break and the ambulance was thrown into the river with the people still inside.

Monica gasped when it seemed the glass was about to shatter and shot at the car window with her handgun. She was trembling from the fear of the gangsters getting inside.

"Miss! Please calm down. We can-"

"Don't tell me what to do, you b*****d!" Monica said, clasping her hands over her ears, alarmed by the sound of gunshots. It seems even at this state, she still had the attitude of a rotten egg but the fact that none of her plans ever went this horribly wrong disturbed her, still, when the help they needed arrived, killing the gang members surrounding her car.

Zil had been monitoring what was happening through the open mic communicators of the 'paramedics'. When he found out what happened, he was fuming mad and threw his earphones and communicator down, only to be picked up by one of the rebels. "Agh! F*ck!" Zil let out a disappointed grunt and stomped his foot, saying, "Tell everyone to go home now. Mission failed." He walked ahead as one of the rebels sent the general message to the rest and they scattered, all heading back to base.

The heart failure serum given to Damien would be showing some of its effects by now and although the amount administered couldn't kill him, it could bring about some... 'complications'.

Monica sighed as one of the soldiers opened her door and told her to come with them. "Alright" She sighed, getting out of her car and into the one Damien was in. Her driver would fix whatever problems that could be had. After all, he was the one in charge of the maintenance.

As she sat down next to Damien, she said softly that only he could hear, "Hello, absolute leader", noticing that he was still drenched and had a towel over his back. She felt quite disappointed in herself and the fact that they had been outsmarted. But nonetheless, she was a little glad that the absolute leader seemed safe. She didn't know that he was injected with something.

Saiyu landed with an uncermonious thump on the floor in front of Zil, the man she had asked directions from sniggering as he saluted to his leader and scurred back off down the hall to carry on with his job.

The red head grumbled and looked up and Zil with a mildly agitated frown, "and alarm call would have been fine to you know?" the odd angles of her hair indicating she had just been dragged out of her bed, something she didn't look happy about at all. Pushing herself from the floor Saiyu dusted her uniform down before she stood straight ready to shout at the man stood in front of her but stopped. Zil's entire persona at this moment in time reminded her of the soilders that patroled the streets, cold and calculating with an underlying fury and something that she could only describe as a killer intent, in short he looked nothing less then scary, even to her. The reble leader had done in seconds what had tken Kerell years, he had both Saiyu's admeration an loyalty.

Standing aside she waited for Zil to move forward, waiting to step into line behind him. What ever had zil in this state was serious and she wasn't going to argue with a clearly agravated man.

Damien was panting. "Thank you" he said. He then suddenly felt and pain in his chest. He grunted as he clutched it. "Quick! Hospital now!" he ordered through intense breathing.


Dustin was bringing more sandwiches to the twins. He still wasn't aware of what had happened.

Slowly, Shadow began to wake up, rubbing her head against the bed she had been laid on. "W- where am I?" She asked in a daze.

Saiyu broke her stairing match with the back of zil's head in favour of glancing out the window, her fidgiting fingers stopping abruptly as the leader addressed her directly, his tone holding nothing of his former playful nature.

Biting back the urge to push herself futher down into the seat Saiyu nodded stiffly, "Shadow can take care of herself......I'm sure she's probably giving who ever she's with enough orders to last them a life time....." Saiyu left zil's statment about the mission hanging in the air, she was torn between the unwillingness to make a comment and the nervousness that Zil's new found anger would be directed at her.

Damien was rushed to the HQ where several doctors began to work on him, giving him an IV and steroids to stabilize him while taking blood samples to see what they used on him. "It appears that you got lucky." One doctor told Damien while testing his blood. "This is a powerful chemical, one that I haven't encountered before, but it's not enough to kill you. It will still do a lot of damage if left untreated. Your blood samples will be sent to the labs to find out it's chemical structure to find a cure, but until then, we'll have to monitor you daily and combat it's damage as best we can."

"Sir," Another soldier said entering the room. "The Chief General has been sent back to his room to rest. According to the town surveillance cameras, it appears that the one riding with you escaped, but was kidnapped by potential rebels afterwards, the same who attacked you. We are having troops investigate." A soldier told Damien, setting a file filled with photos of Shadow leaving the limo and getting carried off unconscious.
