Doing well, all in all, though I find myself under-employed again... apparently I wasn't a "good fit" for the job, though they praised my work ethic, my timeliness, and my intelligence. rolleyes Okay, so WHY aren't I employed with you??? The supervisor did say, though, they'd highly recommend me for another job at the company. *sigh* Not that that helps much at the moment. NEVERTHELESS, it's a gorgeous day here in Oregon; it's currently 81°F, probably heading to 91 (which is a bit warm for my tastes, but...), gorgeous blue skies, and just a nice feeling of well-being. How are Kerri and Bass doing today? ^_^
(And I hope they figure out what's wrong with your dad, Kerri...) sad

Awe that sucks aretoo. sad What was the job? I hope you get a new one that you like and likes you soon. 3nodding At least its nice out. ^^ It sounds good. 3nodding
It's about 77 here, sunny and breezey. It's very comfortable. ^_^ I'm pretty good. Just hanging around, doing laundry. I need to go to the store later, I dropped my headphones and one side broke, so I need new ones. 3nodding And thank you aretoo, I appreciate it. ^^

The job itself wasn't that great-- they call it "dispatch", which is essentially a helper position. However, it's a foot in the door to the company, which is Precision Castparts Corp., which makes parts for airplanes, and hips, and stuff. It's a Fortune 500 company, and has FANTASTIC benefits. I hope(d) to get into the x-ray department... smile

Well didn't they say they'd recommend you for another job at the company? You could still work towards the x-ray department. Watch out for radiation though. xd

Yeah, but I have to wait for a job to open up to be recommended TO, y'see. Not much income in the meantime. smile And they do the x-raying in giant vaults, so not much danger. And the commission that oversees radioactive materials in the US actually has sensors for each employee that works there that they check... quarterly? Something like that. smile

Jaft I will find you and put things inside of you. The only thing you will find will be yourself, in my basement, and you will like it there...

Lunch was good; we went to Burgerville, and I had a Walla Walla onion burger and Walla Walla onion rings, along with strawberry lemonade, and Kusa had the same, but with fries and a Sprite. smile Kusa's doing well, though he's a bit sleepy today (he's getting over a slight cold), and busily sanding (and trying to stay awake, probably) at his jobsite. biggrin
