Mini RP - Kanto Badge Run (Reno)

Ezekiel would almost purr as Erika's hand petted along his length and gave a small lick to her hand as a sign of kindness. Giving a small yip in joy, the Houndour leaped next to Eriak's legs and began to nuzzle her legs, acting much the part of the affectionate pet he had been raised to be. "There....See what I mean? He doesn't need ta burn everything, he can show a simple gesture and be kind to you. Have I proven anything to you yet?" Reno questioned, staring down the woman with a kind look in his eyes.

Ezekiel would slowly get back to the ground with a small yelp, beginning to slowly walk towards the garden areas before he returned to give another soft lick to Erika's hand. Reno would resume the battle by tossing another Pokeball into the air, Nova unveiling herself in midair before firing at the Victribell with a Heat Wave attack, aiming to charbroil the poor FLycatcher Pokemon.

Reno looked to the Victreebell before making a solemn vow to himself to avoid any possible Fire moves until absolutely necessary. "Nova, use Silver Wind to keep him cool." Reno commanded, a cool breeze suddenly springing into a roaring gale as a torrent of silvery scales flowed from the Volcarona to slice the Victreebell.

Reno snapped his head between the Victreebel and Nova, unsure when exactly the warp had occurred. Looking to Nova and already seeing the flames gathering up in her wings, Reno snapped his fingers and grabbed Nova. "No! No lightin' things on fire. I gotta better plan." Reno exclaimed to his Pokemon before tapping repeatedly with his foot. Nova began to visibly tremble and vibrate as he aimed towards the forested area that the Victreebel had retreated into. A loud, ear piercing buzz reverberated throughout the forested area, attempting to damage the flycatcher's hearing and force it out of hiding.

Reno blinked once before looking to Nova again. "Another Bug Buzz. Just ta see if we can manage it." Reno ordered of Nova, staring into the slowly moving cloud of poisonous purple powder. The loud buzz would echo through the forest again, although it was hard to determine whether it was going to be effective or annoying.

Reno stared into the forest before looking to Nova, and finally to Erika. The thoughts rushing through the trainer's head were almost audible before Reno finally stared into the forest once again. Snapping his fingers for a minute, Reno looked to Nova one more time before simply uttering, "Quiver Dance. We might as well make the most a this." Reno uttered, continuing to watch the forest for the Victreebel coming back to the main battlefield. Nova simply stood by and spun around in circles, allowing the energies to build up around her.

Reno looked to the rain of sludge with a glare before motioning for Nova to continue the Quiver Dance. The motions and movement would allow a good portion of the acidic rain to splash against the ground, with the rest coating Nova in a brushing of sludge. Looking over to Erika, Reno blinked a few times before announcing, "There won't be any fire tonight but the woodland may be a lil thin tonight." Looking back to Nova, Reno commanded, "Nova, use Hurricane. Get rid of the PoisonPowder and see if we can't yank that Victreebel out like a trailer in a tornado." Nova obeyed, sending the massive column of swirling air slicing through the forests in the direction the Sludge Bomb had been lobbed from, the Poisonpowder being collected into the Hurricane attack as it continued along.
