Ren laughed a little, giving that cunning smile. Though he was the third, rather unimportant prince, he had a tendency of appearing a bit pretty boyish. Surely, Shayna was just as sociable. She seemed to be keen on her family, unlike Eureka who was only close with her brother. "Still, that seems a bit overwhelming on a daily basis," he chirped. He couldn't imagine twelve siblings; it must be hard to maintain some sort of independence and individuality.
Unmei's comment startled him, to which Ren fidgeted. He glanced up to see his older brother tease him. Ren grew slightly defensive, but didn't let it show physically. He glanced to Kaimei and then to Eureka, who was staring at him from the corner of her eye. Ren felt a bit more reaffirmed and then turned to Unmei. "Why would I walk back? If the brink of insanity could get me farther from you and Kaimei, I would gladly stay there," he joked, giving a faux smile. "And who is to say I'm not insane right now?" He stared at Unmei's face with his clear blue eyes, sparkling and glimmering with a dragon's shine.
"And I think you are insane as well. Where's the princess of Divendale? She's not with you; did you leave her?" He looked a bit perplexed, peeking behind Unmei to see if she was hiding. Did they not get along?

Striding through the halls, the fairy used simple memory to find her way to the room. She slid a lock of hair behind her ear, looking around. Sereda found herself a little irritated, and her furrowed brow and straight mouth were gateways to her emotions. With her arms crossed over her chest, she looked uncomfortable and awkward. She stayed still, but she really wanted walk right on out of the room and back to her carriage in town. At least she could hide away there.

"Oh I could very well be considered insane. Your neglected third child act is getting old Ren and I've put up with it long enough. I get so much attention because you, Kaimei, father, and virtually everyone else in this world seems to think I can't handle myself just because I can't see with my eyes. Kaimei gets quite a bit of attention because he is next in line and so has a great deal of responsibility. Responsibility that let me remind you puts him under alot of stress that I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to handle and that I bet you couldn't handle. You get virtually no attention because for some reason you avoid it and then you complain when you don't get it."
Then He Frowned and gripped his cane tighter. "I Would like for you to be happy Brother, You deserve the very best. But in order for that to happen you need stop running from the attention that you crave, stop hiding behind fake smiles and actually speak your mind, and finally Stop acting like Your older brothers think themselves above you. We love you. You're a prince, Start acting like one." And Then He took a deep breathe and hugged his younger brother strongly and yet gently.
"As for the princess of divendale, She left me. Though I'm certain she isn't far."

"Oh I get my individuality. Unlike them, I can convince father to let me go where I please." She said with a smirk. As the middle prince came up she cringed slightly. And his attitude was slightly annoying her. But as she stood there, arms crossed she couldn't help but glare as he lectured. Of she wouldnt have been trying to say good about her father and her kingdom she provably would have said something but stayed contempt to growl if only slightly. But as the other princess showed up, shayna went over to her after quietly excusing herself. "Is he that boring? Or did something happen?" She asked quietly. It was quite obvious that the fairy wasn't exactly happy

"He did not listen when I spoke," Sereda said, annoyed but quiet. She shifted her stance a little, wings shifting with her. The princess dropped her arms to have her hands folded in front of her. She could feel a headache coming on. "At first it was mildly displeasing. Then it was overwhelming. He will show you very beautiful things, though." At least she said something pleasant.

"Ah... Well then. Just from how he acts towards his brothers I already don't like him..." She said even quieter. She looked back at the blind middle prince and the youngest prince. She would have never done something like that to any of her sisters... "Beautiful things? I'm not sure if that is a good think or not... Depends on what you mean by beautiful though..."

When the other princess looked, Sereda did as well. She looked back to Shayna as she spoke. "Flowers and twin dragons," The fairy said simply, sighing and dropping her hands to her sides. "How was your first prince?"

Ren was a little surprised, and genuinely embarrassed. He pushed Unmei off gently, staring at his brother. "Don't think you know me so well, brother," he murmured, fixing his shirt as he composed himself. "I may not appear very proud of who I am in this family, but that's only because I am constantly compared to you two. For once, I'd like to be recognized not for being a prince or a brother, but as a person. So sorry if I appear fake and unhappy along the way."
He wasn't really angry about the way he said it; his tone was a bit more casual. He crossed his arms, not particularly pleased with having to admit something like this, but nonetheless it came out. His face was a tad complacent. He didn't know what to say after that. He didn't know Unmei thought of him as a 'neglected third child act'. Which sort of hurt him, but Ren didn't blame Unmei for his perceptions. He glanced at the two princesses who were speaking in hushed tones. Alas, to break whatever awkwardness remained, he clapped his hands.
He pulled a nice big grin. "Erm, now that we're all here, how about we-" Ren covered his mouth, coughing. He had asked for a maid for some medicine this morning, but none had brought him any. Shaking his head, he resumed. "Pardon. How about we all switch?"

Unmei tapped his cane on the ground and said, "I Am Sorry Ren." Then he growled as he heard the two princesses talking amongst each other about him. But rather than speak to them and vent his anger, he looked to ren and Said, "You are right. It is time for us to switch, Perhaps you can impress miss Sereda." and then he turned to Shayna and said, "I guess that means you and I will be spending some time together? If I may ask do you sword fight?"

"He was... Quiet and different. Sometimes indifferent to things and any talk about anything really was one or two sentences then nothing. I tried really hard to get him past his wall but when I almost succeeded he drew away and then asked to return. Maybe you will have better luck." She said trying to smile. As Unmei and Ren finished talking, Shayna tried to be as pleasant as she had been with the other two. "I suppose it is you and I. And yes, I do sword fight. But I prefer the stealth and quickness of the dagger."

"Would you like to have a quick spar dagger to sword? We can talk after if you accept, or we can talk now if you'd prefer." He said with a smile, both hands resting on the hooked handle of his cane. He took a deep cleansing breath, and waited patiently for her answer.

"I will accept but I would need to borrow one. I may have three on me, but two are special and I would prefer not to use them." She said trying to explain. Her sisters had either made or had them made for her. They were part of the last things she had from home and she would rather die than use them.

( Sorry, started senior year and got swamped already. )
When the other prince, the one that had escorted Shayna and herself to the throne room, clapped, spoke, and coughed, Sereda turned her attention to him. The clap had startled her and her wings went up some as a result, but she calmed before she ended up in mid-air. She listened as Shayna spoke again, but when Unmei spoke to the other princess, she turned her full attention to Ren. She smiled to him and gave a small dip of her body. "Hello," Her voice was pleasant, despite her previous mutterings about Unmei. "What do you have in store for us this evening?"

Ren accepted Unmei's apology easily, scratching his neck a little shyly before Sereda spoke up. She was like a doll, really, in both actions and appearance. Her wings looked so delicate, as if spun from sugar. He looked at her for a few seconds before snapping out of it, knowing he was staring. She looked nice enough, so he wondered why she didn't seem to get along with Unmei so well. He was very curious, and a look of wonderment crossed his face.
"Ah, I have nothing planned. I was thinking whatever I want to come up with will come to me when it does," he supposed. He motioned for her to follow him out of the ballroom, down a hall with thick curtains.
"Do you like sweets?" Reminded of Sereda's wings, Ren thought about having something to snack on. Ren was quite the sweet tooth, and hopefully Sereda was too.
