Rajin shook his head. The whole situation it seem like he was going to die the next hour. The look on his face was the most unlike him. It was full of gloom and doom. "It's impossible. My parents are unshakable in these moments. And with your status, it's like finding the fountain of youth. They won't let go of this opportunity. And I'm sure your parents would be absolutely crazy to pass up the chance of having her daughter married to the son of a famous advertising agency head and fashion and accessory company." If there was ever a time Rajin could scare simply through the feeling despair, now would be the time. His voice was more depressing than the sound of Edgar Allan Poe reading his most famous poem. In the ifrit's mind, he was doom to spend his life with someone who didn't get along with him.

Rajin had been rendered to nothing. He felt as though a human had trapped him in a lamp. the ifrit said nothing as Krynn lead him to her room. Once the two were alone, the snake seem to revert to her soft side. This was the side Rajin really needed to see at the moment. Even with his behavior being so tough and stoic, this sort of news cut deeper than anything known to the ifrit. Having wrap her arms around him, was the last straw for Rajin. The ifrit returned Krynn's embrace and wrapped his arms around her as well, beginning to quietly cry hot tears. The genie buried his head in the lamia silky silver hair as he began to heave. This was the mighty ifrit at his lowest.

In the back of Rajin's head, he knew that everything Krynn was doing was a farce. The kind behavior was a lie. Just a shame. Changing to her lamia form and coddling the sad lump of fire was no more real than the marriage the two had been engaged in. Still, it was comforting to the genie and much appreciated. Having Krynn in her snaky lamia form brought back memories of Alayi, Krynn's old pet boa. It was unsure if a snake could actually be this comforting. Unlike a dog or any other mammals, the most affection a reptile could show towards another was tolerance. To be so kind was unheard for reptiles. Regardless, Rajin took whatever comfort he could get from the lamia. Burying his head in her scaly body was enough. Just long as he had something to be with as he cried softened the pain of his grim future.

There were certain things that happened when people started crying. One, they became rather emotional, and two, they were honest. Rajin became both of these. A sad sight that, while not completely grateful, was glad only Krynn saw. If it had been his mother or Father he be receiving even less pity. Through hot teary eyes, the ifrit looked up at the lamia. "But..you haaaaate meeee." Rajin managed to say through the stream of boiling tears rolling down his face. His speech had the same effect as anyone when they cried. He talked with difficulty. Even though he was crying, the ifrit was also angry, simply because he was crying. Too many times he had been told by his father that it was a sign of weakness. Well, right now, all Rajin had to say to that was bollocks.

The ifrit didn't seem to notice how Krynn lightly tighten her grip around him .Easy to be frustrated with. Same words used to describe Rajin in his early age. Amazing how his own parents still tolerated him. It wasn't much and the genie felt like Krynn was sugar coating the truth, but Rajin seemed to hold back his tears long enough to give the lamia a small smile for her efforts in comforting him. This was a difficult time. Rajin and Krynn were still in high school. They hadn't even had any time to get on with their lives and find their own way. Even worse, if the two really were going to be husband and wife, they hardly anything about each other. After some time of more tears, Rajin eventually calmed down. It been such a long time since he cried like that. Truth be told, it felt somewhat. Releasing bottled up emotions. One could only imagine what spiritual healing a good cry could be for someone like Rajin, or Krynn.

It seemed that Krynn was going into another one of her phases where she couldn't stop kissing Rajin. Well did when he mention something about standards. The lamia didn't seem to take it too hard though. When he mentioned that the two needed to get to know each other, she welcomed it with a grin. Rajin cleared his throat. For once, he felt rather..open and naked. He had never been able to talk to someone in such a way. "Well...I don't know where to start. Umm..." The ifrit began to look around the room, searching for some kind of idea. A conversation starter. "Well.. what about music?" Rajin asked curiously. "Like what kind do you like?"
