Shadow-Savant When we have our characters submitted do you want them listed in the intro so everyone can see who is approved? Then the players would have a little better idea of just how close they are to play time. razz (I must admit that I'm a little antsy. This will be my first chance to play D&D since Nov '04) And yet you've still managed to make a non-shitty character. Kudos.

Kudos. rofl I'm not sure if I should thank you or be offended, so I'll just say thanks. I've created more characters than I've played and I'm the guy who always taught new players about character creation and building. I'm also the guy who spoke out the most for roleplaying instead of our dm's typical bloodbath or monty-haul campaigns. Characters are probably my specialty which is why I prefer to play rather than DM.

Antun You do want us to submit our characters without equipment and items though, correct? For now, yes. soon I will have a list of items that everyone should take as a standard. In fact I think I'll put that togeather tonight. I was hoping to start play tommrow, but it would seem that two of out players arn't posting at all. I want all of your concent as to weather I should just drop them and go to the understudy list, or if I should PM them.

I say give them a chance, and if they don't respond then let them know you'll keep them in mind for next time but you have a pair of understudies waiting.
And put another name on your list in case one of the understudies falls through. Maniac-X. He's a friend of mine. He would have joined but you got your six before I got the chance to let him know. if everything falls through with the others I'd like to be able to tell him "guess what buddeh, yer in. roll em up!"

MrJimmy Erverain Would you have a regular night for this? I'd be interested, but my access is kinda wonky. Also, you're starting this at, what, sixth or seventh level? If I'm able I would like to join in. I've been on both sides of the die, and know my way around 3.5 ed, as well as passing knowledge of 2nd. I tried to organize a war-type game. I had people moving units of troops, lots of very confusing things that I wasn't quite able to keep up with. Anyhoo, If I can join in, and my ability to go on the net isn't kaiboshed, I'd be a Human Monk. I don't have the Player's guide on me right now, so I wouldn't be able to pull up my feats, skill, or gear sweatdrop Obviously you don't read through the thread before posting... I would like to let you play, but the problem is I designated only six player slots, currently all those slots are filled. I'm starting to get skepticle as to weather or not some of the players are going to be coming, only four of them are activly posting, and a fifth said that she would not be able to start until the end of this week. What I'm goinng to do for you is put you on the backup list on the front page, first post, if any one bails on me at any time I will PM you and move you into their slot. But I can't gaurntee it happoning. If this goes well I will be hosting another game, and I'll make sure to tell you when I'm getting it started, if you're still intrested. I did read through, but I mistakenly thought that perhaps one or another player may have dropped, and that I would be able to fill in. Sorry. I wouldn't be too worried about using me as back-up, though. Since I currently am without ISP, I must rely on the local library for my internet needs. Of course, if anything worse than "crap" or "a**" is posted, the filters on those pcs would just not load the page. Man, this summer is going to suck. Oh well. At least we have the home version.

I'm normally on Thu-Sun nights but I'll try to pop in tomorrow night. I don't make enough money to afford the net at home yet. . . Hopefully when I get more hours I'll be able to do so and then I'll be available 7 days a week. Otherwise it's Thu-Sun and my sporadic visits from other peoples' houses. (no guarantees there) I'm going to invite my friend and let him know that a few people appear to have fallen through.

Awsome, although I think there are a couple of people ahead of him. It's going to be a post when you can sort of thing too, so if there is a long amount of time where postin is not an option, PM me before hand and I will move your charactor for you.

Haha, sorry I was a little late in responding to the PMs (if I was late XD) -- finals have been murder! I'm cool to play, though.
Edits: Hey, which classes fell through? Or did the people that didn't respond not even choose one yet? XD
Also, I'm thinking about being a lawful neutral monk, but being in an army and thus (possibly) wearing armor might prove difficult. XD

XD A uniform is the only requirement, and it won't be your uniform so it's okay to be a monk. We used to have to fighters, but one was dropped so so now were down to a rogue, fighter, wizard combo.

No word from that warmage, 'eh? Then, methinks I'll be the monk if that's cool. He'll be a lawful-neutral human monk. ^__^
I'll whip up a character sheet ASAP.
