im afraid of clowns because i had a frightening experience at the circus once involving the freaky face painted ones, oh also i am afraid of a really creepy old painting at my uncle's house, because the eyes always look like they are following me

Snakes or anything snake like at all that I see. I have no idea why I have the fear, yet I will screamed and run if I see a snake. It might have something to do from my early years. Maybe two years old, I was swimming and saw a gardner snake. I screamed and almost drowned.

Bugs.(so scared of 'em I can't even squish 'em)
The dark(yes... the dark...).
Being alone in my house without the TV or Computer on.
Snakes.
Clowns.
Old people o_0.
The fact that the universe is so big.
Boats, even with a life jacket on
Planes... even with a parachute
Bridges that aren't proven to be 100% safe(as in dropping a brick on it, then something heavier and heavier until it break...)
Being outside with no one in sight.
Creepy paintings... with eyes that follow you.
The Lockport caves when they're setting up for halloween((I never wanna go there in October or November o_0)) I have a story about this... I'd rather not talk about it though
MANY other things...
I think I'm more cautious then adventurous...
Then again I climbed rocks in sandals... I tried walking down a rocky hill too.. my knee is still healing from that

R a i n b o w Deluxe Okay lets see, here's my list of phobias.
Some of you might have them too.
-Agraphobia (fear of sexual abuse)
-Hemophobia (fear of blood)
-Athazagoraphobia(fear of being forgotten)
-Autophobia (fear of being alone)
I am also a very paranoid person,
so when I am alone, and I hear strange noises,
I tend to freak out a lot.
And I also have the Peter Pan complex,
which is I am scared to grow up. Same here

Fears I've beaten:
Ladders: I was never really afraid of heights, I was afraid of having no solid ground under my feet.
Rollercoasters: Brought me to become a adrenaline junkie.
Still fearing:
Bananas: They are scary to me!
Amstaff, Pitbull, etc.: Too muscular dogs really freak me off, I prefer "commonly" built dogs.

While there aren't many things that scare me, I really, really, really can't stand moths. One summer my parents had a moth infestation in their cupboard, and I was still living there. I still get the chills whenever I open a box of cereal in their house--I expect these tiny moths to fly out and to find larvae in the cereal. It really freaks me out.

Cockroaches. They're creepy when they're just crawling on the floor but once they take flight I'm gettin' the hell outta there. >.<

well i took this 3 hour hike up a volcano (not active...i think O_O) by myself!! when i finally got to the top i was so terrified because there was this huge cliff with really sharp rocks at the bottom an there was even some bones....(i hope it was animal bones eek ) but anyway i got stuck because the rock i used to climb up on broke and i was against the cliff looking down at how far i was off the ground i was there for about an hour then finally i called my dad an he got some pros to help me down it took them another hour!!!! i've been scared of heights ever since mad but i plan to go back up an face my fear XD besides im 15 im not gettin any younger xp

clowns scared me when I was younger. they dont scare me now, but I still have a dislike of them. I guess it's because they hide their faces, which translates to fear of the unknown mixed in with not trusting strangers.

[ Z a d i i e ] I have a really bad phobia of needles. It's strange because I can shoot myself up, poke and prod myself - and be fine - but if I need an injection or blood drawn - there's going to be serious issues.
When I was 13 it was so bad I had to be taken to the ER to be heavily sedated to get blood drawn. Even with double-vision, slurred speech, no ability to think straight - completely doped up - they ended up having to have 9 people hold me down and I was screaming like a ******** banshee the entire time. It sends me into panic-mode for some reason and it's like I'm fighting for my life. I have no idea why it happens - but it does.
Another one is splinters. I have an extreme tolerance for pain and gore - but when I get a splinter and realize it - I will be heading for the floor. I just start passing out for some reason once I realize I have a splinter. o___0 I'm exactly the same way when it comes to needles, but I have never been hostpitalized before; I was close too.. the main reason why I'm afraid of needles is beacuse when I was five, I had viral meningitis and had to have a spinal tap. before that, I actually liked going to the doctor to get the damn shot. Now, I'm scared shitless, thanks to that experience. The other thing I don't like is just having my skin peirced in general. Even though I have my ears periced (I got them done when I as like, 2-3 months old, according to my parents.), just the fact of having my skin periced, cut, sliced or stabbed is *shudders* scary. as ridiculous as it sounds, I'm afraid that I might be posessed by Satan or something like that. I don't have a religion and I don't belive in the paranormal, but imaginging myself growling and speaking Latin backwards with that freaky dual-voice, thrashing about without knowing what the hell I'm doing, or just lying there as if I have parylisis (did I spell that right?), or just staring with unatually over dilated pupils... ******** scary. O___O

ferret321 hmm, where to start: spiders centipedes CLOWNS!! puppets heights the sound of silverware scraping together getting papercuts between my toes and fingers horses sidewalks I have OCD and agoraphobia (fear of leaving ones house), so I'm scared of pretty much everything Ooh! Me too!
