Narcis nodded briefly. He was uncertain of this, but he assumed the boy would know more about human habits than he would. Once the bag was bought, he said quietly, "Shall we go, then?"
His besetting sin had always been impatience. He just wanted to get Nezik and return home - being in this town upset him in a way he didn't really understand. Back in the water, he could just get the boy safely to Katalina and forget about all this. He would no longer have to deal with the human and his pet dragon.
Well, maybe he would. Sorry seemed attached to the boy, and that meant he might still be Narcis's problem afterwards.

Violet slowly swam up and poked her head out of the water to ge a better look at the human. he was the same one from before. "O great...." she muttered. she figured that stupid water fairy was near by too so she couldn't have any fun.

Joey stopped for a second and turned around...seeing Violet, he sighed. Looks like he was in for it. "You're telling me. Here I was, worrying about my fri..." He paused. Friend? He blinked and shook his head. "Worrying about Joshua and now you probably are going to use me as a toy for whatever you please, correct?"

A boy dashed up to Lucian and smiled, he pulled him to the side and whispered to him quietly. Lucian nodded and smiled before saying something to the boy that caused him to blush. Lucian walked over to the group, “Lucian friends say merboy is in East Coast Aquarium. They also said to Lucian that scientists are flying here right now to see for themselves if this is another trick. Bad guys should be arriving in about two hours…” He looked at Joshua and smiled, “Did Lucian do good? Did he? Did he? Did he?”

Violet chuckled. "well that was the plan..." she said as she came out of the water a little more. "But I'm not in the mood to get yelled at by your little sea fairy 'friend'." she said reffering to Aiofe.

 Joshua shouldered the bag he'd just bought. He figured he would carry it for now. Narcis would have to carry it later anyways. He nodded to the siren and led the way out of the store. Outside, the teen pointed down one road. "We want to head to the town square. News bullitains and such are posted there. Besides, that were the best gossipers hang out. And if information is what you want a gossiper is what you need." The said, he began making his way down the street. Town square was the first and foremost place to check for any information.

Joey sighed. "Well, that leaves us with two options then. The first is that we could sit here and chat for a bit. Having a nice conversation never hurt anybody. The second is we turn and leave each other be. Me, either one is fine." He shrugged and smiled politely.

Narcis was about to nod to Joshua's statement when suddenly Lucian came running at them with his statement. "East Coast Aquarium," he murmured. "Joshua, where is that? If we only have two hours..."
Because the scientists would want to take Nezik away with them, of that he was certain. So they had to hurry.

Joey smiled, surprisingly glad that he wasn't alone, even if it was Violet. "Okay. Well, seeing as we got off on the wrong way, I shall reintroduce myself. I am Joey." He attempted a mock bow...and almost went underwater in the process.

A huge smile split Joshua's face. "Lucian, you did amazing." Now they knew where to go! Things were looking up. 'Except for that little factor of the scientists coming soon.' Still, two hours gave them time. "It's this way." He ducked down a side street, one less filled with people. It wasn't the main route to the aquarium, but it was faster. Also, it brought them to the back of the aquarium, rather than the main doors. "Come on. I can get us to the back entrance. It's quieter than the main doors. Also I don't know if Nezik would be on display yet. This entrance lets us go behind the scenes and check everything out."

As they began to walk, Lucian glanced over at the Siren and pointed to himself mouthing silently what Joshua just said, “I did amazing…” he was trying to rub it in even though the Siren probably didn’t care at all. As soon as Joshua looked his way, his face was normal and innocent looking.

Narcis followed alongside him, moving perhaps a little faster than the situation warranted. After all, two hours was a while. But who knew how long it would take them to find him? If they could somehow discredit the aquarium, perhaps this would all blow over - but Narcis didn't think so. Not at all.
He ignored Lucian yet again, entirely too wrapped up in finding Nezik to care what the sea dragon thought.
"How can you get into the back entrance?" he asked, moving ever faster. Now that he knew where to go, it was past time that he get there to get the boy out. Then a thought occurred.
"Perhaps," he murmured, "Nezik himself can tell us where he is." He reached out to the boy mentally. It should be simple. Not only were they both merfolk, but they were kin.
Nezik? Nezik, do you hear me?

Joshua grinned sheepishly. I have some friends there. They know what I'm like. So rather than have me bugging them all the time, they gave me replica they made of the key." His face straightened into a suspiciously blank expression. "Completely and totally illegal though." Didn't stop him from using it when he wanted a better look at some of the fish. The teen was now trotting, trying to keep up with Narcis. "Sirens can do the mental thing too?" He asked, more to himself than anything. 'Well, I guess the sirens and merfolk are pretty similar. I mean, they can breed.' Joshua watched Narcis's face for any hint that Nezik had answered.

As the group approached the aquarium, Rose appeared from a side street. "I see you have already figured it out. If you know a way in the backdoor I can distract the guards while you guys get him." she said softly. The guards were a young pair that Rose had known for years, not to mention the fact that the two guards had been wolf whistling at her as she checked out the aquarium.
