The world was normal...
*pokes head up from Ocarina of Time*

Did somebody say Palatino Linotype? I love that font!
I had thought it came standard with the newer Microsoft Operating Systems?

...then Skrat came.

Nawww... It comes standard with Adobe's products I believe, otherwise one has to buy the entire font.

I believe OS X and Windows comes with a Palatino, but not Linotype's Palatino.

Palatino and Palatino Linotype are okay, but sans-serif is superior...

It all depends, Tsuj, on usage. I prefer Palatino in printing and making professional-looking things.

aretoo's particular to Copperplate, Helvetica, and Times... Futura's rather nice, too. smile Serif or sans-serif depends on my mood, and/or the project. smile

Generally, fonts that fall in the Humanist categories are the ones I like in the serif'd fonts, while I enjoy the Geometric and Humanist categories in sans serif.

Is it really a way to sort out fonts? I just like the stylistic look of humanist serif'd fonts, since they look like the print in renaissance books, so they have that aire of elegance and approachability to them.

Most modern fonts are a bit too harsh to me, hence why I prefer the humanist groups in each. Helvetica, Univers, and Twentieth Century are the exceptions to my general difficulty of using modern fonts.

Edit: Talking about font types and preferences, Silver. :3
