Violet glanced over her shoulder as she swam. "yea, yea.... don't think much of it....I just didn't want blood in my waters is all...." she said as she reached the shallower water where he could easily touch with the water only to his waist and took him off her back.

 Joshua gestured for Rose to go on ahead. He pulled the key from his pocket after a moment of digging. "Good. I did remember to grab it." The teen curled his fist around the steel key and glanced at Lucian. "What we need to do Lucian, is find Nezik first of all. Then, get him out of the water and into the backpack." He jerked a thumb to the pack on his shoulders.
"Then, we get out of there as fast as we can. We're heading to the cliffs. Once there, Narcis and Nezik can jump and be home free." Joshua gave the dragon a quick, basic idea of their plan. He was waiting for the guards to leave. 'If they aren't gone in two minutes, we're going in regardless.' He thought to himself.

Joey nodded and stood on his non-bleeding leg. Truth be told, his cramp had gone away a few minutes after Violet began to carry him. His bleeding leg, on the other hand, was a different matter. It was still heavily bleeding. Joey limped to the shore and grabbed his shirt. He sat in the sand and tore a long strip out of it. He wrapped it around his leg and tightened it. "There, that should hold for now." He looked over at Violet. "Again, thank you for your help. I don't think...that I would be talking if you weren't here..."

"yea, well.... your welcome....." Violet mumbled the last part as she watched him wrap up his wounded leg.

Blood soon stained the shirt, though it seemed to stop after a few seconds. Joey looked at his now ruined shirt and sighed. "Well...it is what it is..." He muttered. He looked at the sea and the horizon. His mind began to wander as he stared. He blinked and returned to the real world. He looked at Violet and grinned sheepishly. "Heh...sorry...I often become...lost in thought while staring off at the sea and sky."

Rose left the group, making her way over to the guards. "Hey, guys, long time no see." she said with a flirty smile. She talked to them for a bit then walked off down a dark side alley. "Come on, Rosiekins, don't be that way." one of the guys called after her. They followed her as she led them through the maze of back streets and alleys. "Find Nezik quickly, guys....." Rose thought, as she darted down a side street the guys following closely, calling her name.

Joey blinked. "Really?" That surprised him. He looked out to the sea because of his past. He wondered if the shore had the same affect due to her past and discretion with humans...Joey sighed and leaned back, staring at the clouds. "Someplace I can't reach on my own...I am always staring at all those places..."

The instant the guards were gone, Narcis was at the back door. While he waited for Joshua to join him and unlock it, he reached out to Nezik again. The boy's mind was full of confusion and a kind of dull helplessness that worried Narcis, though he said nothing. The boy did not sound like himself, even in the back reaches of his mind.
"We have to hurry," he grated, sounding oddly worn down. He was not used to spending a great deal of time in human form, and he didn't like it. The power it took just to stay this way was tiring him and they weren't even in the door yet. "I don't know how much longer I've got, Joshua."

Lucian stopped and stared at the Siren, even though he wasn’t fond of him…he didn’t want to see him get hurt. He placed a hand on his shoulder gently and smiled, “Don’t worry…Lucian will take care of Nar-Chan if he feels ill.” He too waited patiently, a little worried for the human girl What if those guards actually try to do something with her. It slightly angered him at the thought. ‘Little one…if you need me just call.’ He was thankful that he can speak with her that way…after all he already kissed her. (If I am not correct then please correct me. I think Lucian kissed her awhile back ago.)

((I'm not sure either, but I think he might of. Oh well we'll just say he did....))
"Don't worry 'bout me. I know these guys." Rose replied as she hopped onto a large crate in one of the allies. She crouched, waiting. The guys walked pass, not noticing her. Next thing they knew they were on the ground, unconscious. "There, I took care of the guards. They are sleeping peacefully now. Of course, the poor fellows will probably have really bad headaches when they wake up...." she said, making her way back towards the aquarium.

Narcis's shoulder jerked. "Didn't I tell you not to touch me?" he demanded, his voice not sounding as harsh as it might have had his tension been less. He could not afford exhaustion, not now - he had a promise he had made, both to Sorry and to Nezik, and he had to fulfill it. He had to. There was no way around it.
Impatiently, he gestured to Joshua.

Lucian was startled that the Siren could be so grouchy, but he pretending not to be hurt by the gesture. He gave him a slight fake smile and nodded. He was trying to be kind to the Siren, but it shot him in the a**. He looked away hiding he face, waiting for Joshua to open the door.

Narcis sighed irritably. He knew that the dragon was trying to be friendly, but he just couldn't stand contact. Saying it, however, would sound like an excuse, so the Siren didn't speak. Spoken excuses and reasoning were looked upon with disdain among his people. He merely remained still and waited, concentrating on trying to dull the weariness beginning to spread through his mind.
