[I was sort of going on the fact he had a cig in his avatar's mouth, though it's really not the best way to judge people... Lin doesn't seem like the type to do things for no reason. -based on knowing he exists for 50 hours-]

With the exception of the occasional cigar, I don't smoke...
I believe that Lin does smoke in times of increased stress, though. It's bad for him and he knows better.
