Incorrect Dark! NES (nintendo entertainment system) was first released when I was a young lad. If I remember right, it should be some where around 20 years old.

Well... considering the cost:
Nintendo DS Lite - 130 USD
Slot-1 Homebrew Solution - 50 USD
MicroSDHC Card 4G - 30 USD
It's a cheaper product to deploy to students than buying a full lab of computers (300-400 USD/computer) and the software (200-300 USD/computer). Administrations might not like a Game Console in their classrooms though. @Dark: It's alright; I think they're just kidding. :3

And it certainly is cost effective. And I'm sure the admins would change their mind once they see how much they'll save on their budget.
