Jaft's right. The gold sink helps us more than anything, really. Though it's annoying they don't lert you see what it looks like before you buy it.

I can understand the one use thing since it's a potion, and yeah, the major cost... but yeah, not being able to preview it sucks. Ah well, there's always tektek(minus some layering), right?

I just hate the "sell your soul to gaia" thing to get anything good, makes it way too hard to get the look you want :/

Lobo, your quiz was mean to me. I hit 'continue' and it told me I got a zero on it.
Yeah, there is always tektek, which is good.
EDIT: Viral, it's because of inflation that the prices are so high. By creating a gold sink, hopefully they'll stay the same instead of steadily increasing or even go down. They're taking gold out of the economy.

There are lots of good items out there that don't cost a bajillion gold.
As proof, I don't have anything worth over a million. xd
And I joined in 2006.
The store items are nice. And the MCs are manageable. With a lot around 20k or less.

*nod* Yep yep. Lobo has never spent over... between 40-60k on any one thing at any time. Most expensive was between fairy wings for Karma, and the Inari's Bead... I got the Furugasa as a gift because someone loves me much for my birthday =x
And OMG, I've been on gaia longer than Jaft >.<
