Anne Rice was good. She had her own vampire, and she did that very well...
I guess that what you need for a good vampire story is... well, the vampirism can't be just a factor. You can't say "Oh, here's a vampire- and let's throw in some romance for this audience, and a car chase for that audience, and let's make him solve crimes while we're at it!"
It's hard to say exactly what makes a good book, but I know a bad one when I see it. And I could see Twilight coming from miles away. XP

I suppose I should at least give Ms. Rice a peek and borrow it from a friend (the same friend I'm borrowing a few other books from *coughBeowulfcoughInfernocoughOthers*

I watched a Yaoi once, I didn't realise until half way through...I always longed to be a Vampire, and then I became one! Oh Happy Days!
And the Terra likes her Vampire Novels. Is the Ann Rice ones the ones where the vampires don't burn in the sun but they just sparkle? I could be wrong. But the one with the sparkly vampires is the one shes been reading. Ann Rice might be the one she told me was lame. I have bad memmory and get confused LEAVE ME ALONE scream ...The girls just never came!

Erius Jaft Is that a bubble in your hand, Erius? It's unburstable! I'm not sure why... but you suddenly reminded my of "Labyrinth". Now all you need to do is juggle 5 of them at the same time. xd Edit: Jimmy I don't know what that game is... mind explaining it to one of the Common Folk? ^_^

The game is old news. X3. Don't worry, Jiro, nobody minds if you lose. You're always a winner to us.
As for sparkling in the sun- no, Vampire Doctor, I'm afraid Anne Rice is not the writer you're thinking of.

Actually come to think of it, that game can sometimes hurt feelings.
But you name three people (usually in a theme, for example, Jaft, Erius, and myself) and then you designate which of the three you'd marry, boff (ie. make sweet sweet love to), and kill.
I have also lost the game. ******** thank you. I've been nearly a week.
