Oh, so that's what that means...
Corn dogs are a gift of the gods. Not so good if they aren't fresh. Or if you aren't used to eating things made with corn.
Philly Cheesesteak is some damn good stuff. So are BBQ Ribs.

My university's cafeteria had an "American" night, and everything had to do with corn. -.- Corn bread, corn bread muffins, corn dogs, corn chips. Oh, and apple pie. Eugh.
I think they confused "American" for "corn".
I like philly cheesesteak stuffs, but they have yet to create a convincing vegetarian version. Damn.
And, according to the sole guy I know from that part of the world (we call him Fallout Boy), our imitations of the cheesesteaks are godawful. Which wouldn't surprise me.

Hey, corn isn't bad. I just like corn on the cob better than just about anything else you can do with it.

Sentama Lin Oh my... I was taught copain was more casual than ami... . . . Tsuj is definitely not my boyfriend. talk2hand In European French, it is. It doesn't exactly mean anything serious in Quebecois, but it does imply a romantic relationship. Chum is used more often, though.

No, your university wasn't entirely wrong. America is world's largest producer, consumer, and exporter of corn.
Vegetarian cheesesteak?! gonk I will kill anyone that dares!
@Lin — Indeed. stare

I love corn bread... and corn dogs.
Hrmm... I could probably make a convincing veggie cheesesteak. I'd just need to experiment with some herbs and some gluten dough...

That was the first time I'd ever eaten corn bread, and I didn't like it. xp Bleh. But that may have been the fact that it was caf food.
Yeah, some things were never meant to be vegetarian. And that is what cheating is for. =D I had "Canadian" pizza the other night and it was a nice break.
Lin: gonk See above.

Hiya! ^_^ aretoo, Kusa, and a friend all went out to a German restaurant for their happy hour menu; we all shared a fondue platter, Kusa had chicken skewers, and aretoo had caesar salad and 2-sausage platter. We finished off with mousse; Kusa had chocolate (served in a bowl that is reminiscent of almond brittle), and aretoo had blackberry mousse. Mmmmmm.
I want more fondue, though.
How goes everybody? ^_^
And aretoo likes cornbread, corn chowder (or potato soup, as I was raised calling it), corn on the cob, creamed corn, popcorn... mrgreen
