Connive: My last boyfriend was a bit shorter than me. x3 We were hobbitses. (He even had the hairy feet.)

Aretoo: I'm still pretty short. Oh well.
And nope, I haven't seen Blood Ties. I've seen it advertised, though. I don't really watch TV.

xD No m'am, just Canadian. I love it.
Drunk boy is coming over shortly. ninja We call him FOB, Fall Out Boy. Wooo.

@Tae: I actually got catamite from some fantasy books (I *believe* The Last Herald-Mage trilogy from Mercedes Lackey)... I've never actually heard anyone use it, either. Or much of them, actually. smile

I'm 5'7" on a good day.

@Iecur: Well, to be honest, if it were real life, I wouldn't probably actually tackle and hug someone; I'm not that touchy-feely. I actually am friendly and love friends to have contact with me, but very seldom do I initiate it. It's kinda odd... smile

Online, however, I get to be a lot more exuberant. mrgreen

Lackey you say ? I've read one of her books lol.

surprised For shame. Lol, I'd say when I talk on the phone or meet people that I know online I tend to be like I am online. And yeah I'd say I'm pretty touchy feely with my friends outside of the nets too. You'd feel soo violated if I was around you. >.>; hahaha. -makes suggestive signals with his hands and winks-

Ciel Avec Cafeine
I'm 5'4", so if you're short, I'm a dwarf. ;_;

I lovelovelove that trilogy! The first book was incredibly sad (I think I sat there and bawled), but it was still really good.

I thought you had to be 4'10" to be considered as such ?

WAit what books?! lol I hear her stuff is amazing but the book I read was so so. Although I did hear that the second one in this series was awesome. Still debating on whether or not to buy it because they I'll want to read the third one and I heard that one was better than the first but not as good as the second. Hmm..decisions decisions.

Well, I'm 5'6" if that makes anyone feel short or taller... xD

Hey Conni~ Could you take a guess as to why I'm happy?

While I do like her Blood series, it's not my favorite series of hers. If you want fairly humorous modern fantasy, I'd go for her Keeper series (Summon the Keeper, Second Summoning, Long Hot Summoning). For classic fantasy, there's the Quarters books (Sing the Four Quarters, The Fifth Quarter, No Quarter, The Quartered Sea). Her sci-fi series is Valor's Honor and Valor's Choice. My favorite book of hers, though, is The Fire's Stone, a stand-alone. (As a matter of fact, the name of her fan club, Nine Above, is drawn from that book)

And I don't mind *others* hugging me, I just don't often initiate it. I was raised to be far, far too polite for that. ^_^

I would say that our height is a normal, average height, Ciel. Everyone else is just... overly tall people.
In what country ? I was talking with a friend who has lived in a couple of different places in her life and says in the last country she lived in everyone was around two metres in height on average and now where she is living everyone is borderline dwarf.

Oh and also in the states I think for a male average is 5'8" and for a female it is 5'3"

Oh and sorry that I keep switching between metric and english system. >.< I should go be Canadian. x'D. (I hope no one takes that badly. I know someone there and I just want to make up any excuse to go be there. Hehe.)

He gets extra points for smelling good and giving wonderful hugs. whee

She has a zillion billion books. She does nothing but write and occasionally breathe, I assume.

And don't worry about using both systems. I measure distance in metric and myself in standard. Kilometres and litres, but pounds and inches.

@Connive: I didn't see too much of his feet. razz

I'd love to say the UK, where I live, but I would be lying. I honestly wouldn't have a clue. I was just saying it to boost my ego a little. razz

ninja aretoo has hobbit feet... crying I love Mercedes Lackey's writing, too, but it sometimes just gets too... too. If you know what I mean. ^_^ Ms. Huff has a nice light touch even in the midst of heaviness. And her significant other wrote/writes some rather nifty books, too (Fiona Patton). mrgreen

Hm... I think I need to read her Keeper series again. (BTW, Tae, that's the series the Canadian line came from. Dean the Newfie who looks like a hockey player movie star, has a great a**, and has OCD and can fix nearly everything.) rofl
